Bullies get a New Toy

Samantha stared at the doll in her hands. She had come to the library to do some studying only to feel dizzy and come to with a doll in her hands. A doll that looked a lot like her; it had the same clothes and hairstyle. Before Samantha could get her mind in gear, she heard a shout.

"Hey you! What are you doing here?"

In her confused state Samantha ran. Samantha didn't know why she should run but reflexes got the better of her. So she ran, then she tripped, then she fell. It took a moment for Samantha to work out what was going on so she landed spread-eagle on the floor. From her prone position on the ground she turned her head to see what she tripped over. It was a leg. Samantha let her vision wander from the leg to the torso and finally to the head. Samantha gulped. The owner of the leg was Tina.

"Shit!" Samantha and Tina looked over to where the voice came from. A goth girl was quickly gathering some books and turning to run. Tina smirked at the goth girl as she started to run. Two seconds later the goth girl too was on the floor. The reason why she ended up on the floor was someone had forearm smashed her throat. That person was Tess.

Tess and Tina were known throughout college as The Terrible Twosome. They would pick fights for fun. If someone or something got broken, teachers could usually trace it back to Tess or Tina. Usually both.

"Two nerds for the price of one," Tina finally said. She focused on the goth girl. "Where's my answers?"

In response the goth girl just coughed. She was having trouble breathing after Tess had floored her. Neither Tess nor Tina showed any concerns about her welfare. "How to make a Voodoo doll," said Tess looking at one of the books that lay strewn across the ground.

Tina's brow furrowed. She walked past Samantha like she wasn't even there. Samantha hadn't moved, hoping that the girls would leave her alone. In her mind Samantha was still trying to work out what was going on. Until her mind fully cleared, Samantha had tried to become invisible. She carefully watched Tina walk past her hoping that her plan had worked.

Tina had seen something go flying when she had tripped up Samantha. At the time she had just ignored it but now she was curious. About three meters from where Samantha lay a doll. Tina picked it up. Her gaze went from the doll to Samantha and back again. "Voodoo you say. Was someone trying to me a Voodoo doll of me?"

The goth girl remained silent hoping for the librarian to save her. In reality she knew it was unlikely and that her plan had back fired. Originally she had lured Tina to the library by telling her that she had answers to an upcoming test. She had cast a Voodoo spell only instead of cursing Tina it had cursed Samantha. Now the goth girl knew she needed a miracle to avoid further pain.

"Voodoo don't work," said Tess. "'Cept in movies."

"Well let's find out," said Tina. Tina laid the doll face down on the floor and rolled it on to its back. The girls watched as Samantha mirrored its movements. Tina then made the doll sit up. Instantly Samantha found herself sitting. "Pretty good but I think I need convinced!"

Samantha gulped. She did want to find out what that test was.

What was the test?

Rather than giving options I'm going to leave it open. I am going to continue with my own ideas however any good suggestions and I shall incorporate them.
