Build up...

You know that they will attack anyone they see so it would be beneficial to block sight and to reinforce all the entrances. This includes the windows and doors which you know they will happily go through just to touch you. You thankfully had a lot of lumber and a good hammer that you can use. You must be quiet or else you will be swarmed, and you know this because of your first encounters.

After you get only a few of your windows done you spot a huge amount of infected coming down your road. You quickly hide out, but you do watch to see what they are doing here. You spot some of them who brake off towards some houses which you saw were occupied. They do not come out and most of the horde stops and starts to mill around. There is no huge infected, so this can’t be a new home that they are picking, it must be a round up of survivors.

Thankfully they avoid your block, almost as though they know they will lose a lot of their numbers. Are they actually smart or are they just waiting for the rest of their numbers? If they are waiting for more then they might be attacking the military which is nearby. If they are smart they are doing a super patrol around this area to protect their home or to get more members.
