My God?! What happened to Buffy?

Buffy was inspired to explore a new job opportunity aka Buffy went to work in a seedy club

When Buffy regained consciousness, she was still naked. The water from the shower heads above was still raining down upon her and the tiled floor beneath her body still felt as hard as it usually did.

Only this time something was different. Something about the shower room did not feel right.

My God, thought Buffy. Did I get a concussion?

She looked around for her towel but could not see it anywhere. Amy must have taken it, she thought, but she could not see Amy anywhere either.

Instead she saw the other girls of her gym class, some of whom were staring at her, some of whom were not.

She slowly sat up and tried to ignore the puzzled looks she was getting from the other girls. Then she stood up, borrowed another girl's towel without asking, dried herself and then gave the towel back.

She still saw no sign of Amy when she left the shower room and walked over to her gym locker. But it didn't matter. Right then she had to get dressed and go to her next class. Which is what she did -- without incident.

Later that night, Buffy was on patrol when she found herself walking in a certain direction. Before she knew it, she was just beyond the city limits -- and approaching a strange building she had never seen before. It seemed to be a club like the Bronze -- but it seemed obvious from the neon sign at the entrance that said "Nude Dancing" that it wasn't the Bronze. There was also a cardboard sign near the front door that said "Amateur Night."

Despite a part of herself that whimpered, she entered the club and saw a lady in a glass booth. The lady asked to see her I.D. and then, after checking Buffy's I.D. and handing it back to her, asked her for some money.

"Oh, I'm not here as a customer," she found herself saying. "I'm here to audition."
