It was the end of a long night for Gotham's dark protector. In just this one night Batman had to stop two bank robberies, seven mugging, disable more than a dozen cake-themed bombs left over from Joker's last campaign and had been thrown through two different walls, while trying to subdue Killer Croc. Now in the early hours of the morning he found himself totally exhausted, standing over the **** bodies of two thieves. They had tried to rob a small antique store, hoping that justice would go to bed early after a stressful night.

Before vanishing into the night again, Batman found himself having to catch his breath. In this rare moment of weakness something unusual happened: someone managed to pull on his cape. Expecting another assailant he whirled around, barely managing to stop his punch from connecting with the small, old lady, who thought it was a good idea to surprise the man who had just beaten two people senseless.

The lady didn't seem to notice the aborted attack."Oh deary me, this is quite the commotion for this early in the morning...", she said as she poked the would-be thieves with her walking stick. Hearing police sirens approaching, Batman attempted to leave the scene without further delay, but the old lady just tightened her grip on his cape as she continued: "Now now, a brave young man like you deserves a little compensation for their good deeds." with these words, she dropped her cane and began to rummage through the pockets of her to-large bathrobe.

Before Batman could object, she had found what see looking for. Extending a shaking hand, she presented two coin to the one golden, one silver, to the vigilante. Who found himself in a bit of a dilemma: He wanted to leave as soon as possible, ideally without accepting any gifts, but feared he would be unable to escape the old lady's grip without hurting her by accident.
