Bruce Banner's mind is a mess

But Bruce Banner isn't just a heavily irradiated victim of gamma rays. An overdose that causes the transformation into an overmuscled, destructive being with a radically separate personality. A modern Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Due to his specific trauma – beaten by his demented father who perceives him as a monster when Banner was a child – and the death of his mother, killed by her husband – it has been scientifically established that Bruce Banner suffers from schizophrenia. Hulk is just another distinct personality brought to life by gamma rays.

Incidentally, there is not a Hulk, but Hulks: Green, Grey, Smart, Stupid, Animal, Warrior, Criminal, with proper names to tell them apart like Joe Fixit, the Professor, the Worldbreaker or the Devil. There's a lot of people in Banner's brilliant mind.

What if these weren't the sole personalities out there? And if another, lurking in a dark corner of Banner's psyche, came to light and take charge. And therefore become an all-new, all-different Hulk?
