Britney. That Britney!

Spencer was watching Amy warming up with Kimberly, to begin with. The girls practising using their mitts by throwing long balls to each other. Spencer’s focus was on his daughter so he wasn’t paying attention when Britney, Tyler’s mom came and sat beside him. He’d normally keep a better eye out but hadn’t expected to see her at a girls’ softball game. Her son should be playing football right now.

“Hi Spencer,” Britney greeted him. Makeup covering her face if not her yellowing teeth from smoking.

“Oh, hey Britney. Taylor not playing today?” Spencer asked. There was nothing truly wrong with Britney. She was nice and friendly but always tried to rope Spencer in things he had no intention of doing.

“He’s on academic probation. The same thing happens every year until the season starts and they need to win games for real,” Britney told him. The boy was a meathead but he sure could play football.

“That’s too bad. Have you thought about tutoring?”

“For that big dummy?” Britney half laughed half coughed. “No, I’m just working in the canteen today.”

Here it comes, Spencer thought, Britney was going to ask him to help out in there.

“I saw you here and I was just thinking…”

Told you so.

“That it was a shame you were never around in these bleachers when I was in Junior High…”

Huh? This is different!

“I gave a whhhooollleeee lot of blow jobs down below these seats. Sucking to swallowing in under three minutes guaranteed. Two dicks at once sometimes. Shame you weren’t around to get one. Not too late, if you want it?”

Spencer couldn’t believe his ears. He never would have expected Britney to ask him that in a million years!

“I’m just here to watch Amy play,” Spencer told her in complete honesty.

“Well, you know where to find me if you change your mind. I’ll be in the canteen. Serving up hotdogs!” Britney poking her tongue into the side of her cheek twice as she said hotdogs.

Spencer was left more than a little disturbed after that.

It was just a practise game so scores weren’t kept but my Spencer’s rough calculations Amy and The Carter Junior High team won by a run or two. Amy played well. Spencer was up cheering for his girl when she hit a home run. Amy managed another run in as well as a sharp catch at third base. Kimberly too doing a good job at the team’s catcher.

Spencer congratulated Amy after the game as they were heading to the front of the school to wait for a taxi back to their house. Spencer allowed Amy to pick what takeaway they had for dinner tonight as a treat for doing so well but she was happy with leftover pizza in the fridge. Amy happy to eat it cold again the next day which is something Spencer could never do. It had to be heated up in the oven for him.

Spencer put Amy’s sports uniform on to wash that afternoon before he headed out onto the lake with his canoe to get a little exercise of his own in. Unfortunately, Spencer’s left shoulder was clicking a little bit and causing him some pain, perhaps from the accident this week, and had to call it quits before very long. He’d look at booking an appointment for a massage or a physio next week when he had a car to get around properly again.

Over pizza, Spencer and Amy watched a pair of movies together on the couch. A recent romantic one for Amy first and then an older classic for Spencer. Amy always finding her dad’s choice in movies boring and falling asleep beside him. With the movies over, Spencer picked up his daughter and carried her into bed. If she got much bigger or his shoulder kept aching as it did then, he wouldn’t be able to do it for much longer.

It had been a big week for Spencer so he took the opportunity to get an early night just like Amy did. He had a lot to do come Monday and didn’t want to drag his feet at all.
