Brief postscript

For anyone who's already read my thread to the end here, thank you, and since I don't know if CHYOA notifies for it, I'm posting this to note that I did a moderate edit to the final chapter, just before this one, to add in just a bit more worldbuilding lore and clean up what might have been a dangling plot thread and a question that had been rattling around in my head at least since I wrote it. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you'll think it takes away a bit of the mystery, maybe you'll just think it's me trying to justify what was always a stupid plot contrivance that let me avoid a slower buildup that you might have found more satisfying. Maybe even some combination of those.

Whether you're reading this after having read the thread as it is now, after this edit, or you read it before now and have come back upon my adding this postscript, thank you for having chosen my thread in this story to read out of all the wonderful, and much longer, threads that all the various talented authors who've added to it have written.
