Bribed

Minka's lips are trembling as she stares back at you in the mirror after your question.

"Answer me!" you snap, causing the actress to jump in her seat.

"Y- ye- yes..." Minka stammers and she looks terrified. She could have lied but she knows you can make her tell you the truth and that she really has ****.

"Why?"

"... I- I- I- they..."

"Did they threaten you?" you ask.

Minka shakes her head in shame and she's close to tears. "No... they paid me 5 million dollars," she says.

"You betrayed me for money?"

"... and they said that I would be free of you if I did what they said."

"Did they tell you what they were going to do to me? That they wanted my rings?"

Minka shakes her head. "They, they just said to introduce you to Eiza and let some of their guys in a car in. That's all. I swear I didn't know what they were going to do," she insists.

"But you could have guessed. I mean, it was kind of obvious, right?" you retort. Minka has nothing to say in response. "You did it for money?" you gesture around. "You can have anything in the world here. And what do you think was going to happen if they managed to get my rings? They would have just made you a cartel whore!"

For a long while, you and Minka don't say anything as you continue to seethe in anger while the terrified Minka waits for what's next.

Finally, she can't take it any longer and starts to beg you. "Please, I'm so sorry! I really am! I'll do anything to make it for it! Anything! Please, just give me 1 more chance!"
