Brian invites you to his party

You’re about to snap when Brian suddenly starts laughing to himself. “Man, those were some good times,” he sighs as he takes a second to recovery. Meanwhile, Katie is quite obviously perturbed.

“Wait, so… you two know each other?” Katie asks, looking between the two of you. Before you get a chance to answer, Brian interjects, “Yeah, we go way back! Used to hang out at parties all the time in high school.”

It was true. Brian had always made you carry his stuff for him and even sometimes entertain him like some kind of jester at every party he went to. It was horrible, and he’d not only humiliated you in front of countless crushes in this way but also caused some of your past girlfriends to lose interest.

“You know,” Brian continues, thinking for a moment. “That being said, I actually have a party going on right now. Would you two like to join us?”
