Chapter 5 by RegressionSchool RegressionSchool

What's next?

Brian finds some instructions

Brian, enchanted by the innocence in Hannah's eyes, led her back to the living room. Hannah, now wearing the pull-ups and clutching her new pacifier, nestled into Brian's lap. She was getting used to the softness of the pull-ups against her skin and the pacifier in her mouth. Brian wrapped his arms around her, a sense of contentment washing over them.

As they enjoyed this intimate moment, Brian noticed a letter among the papers that had accompanied Hannah's BAM Test results. Curiosity piqued, he opened it and began to read aloud.

"Dear Caregivers of the Girls Who Failed the BAM,

Congratulations on your new role as caregivers to these special individuals. The journey ahead is both unique and rewarding. Your commitment to providing a supportive environment is crucial for their well-being. Here are some guidelines to help you during this transitional period."

Brian's eyes scanned the instructions, absorbing the details of what awaited them. The letter outlined the importance of patience, understanding, and maintaining a nurturing atmosphere.

"Here it is," Brian mused, scanning the contents. "We're supposed to create a nurturing space for you, Hannah, during this transition. It says we should encourage play, provide comfort, and be understanding of any emotional ups and downs you might experience."

Hannah, still sucking on her pacifier, nodded with a small, contented smile.

Brian continued reading, learning about regression school—an institution designed to guide those who had failed the BAM in rediscovering the joys of childhood. The letter provided details on the first day, including the necessary supplies and a schedule for drop-off.As Brian processed the information, a mixture of excitement and uncertainty filled the room. He looked down at Hannah, who stared back at him with a mix of trust and vulnerability.

What else is included in the instructions?
