Brian, Kailyn, And JJ

Brian led the two Johnson siblings to the mineshafts; he was in a mixture of concern and slight irritation as JJ's presence wasn't something he truly wanted. Brian liked JJ, he was one of his best friends after all, but now that he was fucking his sister, being alone with only them made things...awkward? Brian couldn't tell if he hated JJ being here because he was afraid, or just weirded out, Brian never expected to be mainly hooking up with JJ's sister after all. JJ, however, being the guy that he was, decided to put suspicions of the pair aside, thinking that if Brian were trying anything, he wouldn't let JJ be here in the first place.

JJ's mind then quickly flipped to his best friends, with Mindy choosing to stay behind and Kenny disappearing on his own, he had to imagine something was going on between them. Kailyn could sense her younger brothers worry and seeing as they had nothing better to do than talk as they hiked, she decided to ask him about it, "What's wrong, James?"

"Nothing," JJ replied with a shake of his head, "It ain't even me, it's Ken and Mindy," He explained causing Brian to slow up and join the pair, now interested,

"What about 'em?" Brian asked with a raised brow,

"I don't know, but I think they are fighting or at least something like that," JJ replied, not wanting to suggest his real reasoning. He knew Mindy wanted to hook up with Kenny last night, and since he didn't see either of them after she pulled him away, JJ imagined it had been a success. Though with Kenny so drunk, JJ figured his friend probably didn't remember anything and was now having an uncomfortable time with his lifelong friend.

"I know what you mean, they were barely looking at each other this morning, or at least Kenny wasn't..." Kailyn agreed, thinking back to their behavior, in all the time she knew her brother's friends, Kenny and Mindy never acted distant with one another. In fact, Kailyn often had to ask JJ if they were dating with the way they teasingly flirted each other,

"I don't know about fight, more like, a drunken hookup situation," Brian said to the surprise of JJ, "I mean, I know Nicole got really pissed off about something last night. Then this morning she was just as mad if that girl wants Kenny and he ended up fucking Mindy last night...it'd make a lot of sense."

"How'd you know about Nicole?" Kailyn asked with a confused tilt of her head,

"Nikki wants Ken? Like, she wants Kenny. Not as just someone to screw?" JJ asked immediately afterward,

Brian's eyes widened just a bit at Kailyn's question, the teen liked having her as a fuck buddy, and he didn't want to ruin that by letting her know he ended up fucking Nicole last night. So the blonde teen chose to ignore her question and instead focus on JJ's, "I don't know if she's in love with the guy or whatever, but, yeah, maybe. If anything, she may just want him to be her's exclusively and wants to mark her territory,"

"But how do you know all this?" Kailyn asked again, a bit more forcefully this time,

"Uh...I, well, I know them. They're my friends," Brian shrugged back,

JJ immediately let out a laugh, "Oh embarrassed to tell Kai the truth?" JJ playfully ribbed his friend, "Be honest; I saw Nicole kiss you as I left the den. You fucked her, didn't you? Probably as some sort of **** fuck, huh?" Brian's eyes widened, and he quickly darted them to Kailyn's, while JJ chuckled and did the same, "Sorry to tell you sis, my buddy here is a player. Fucks around with anything that moves,"

"Oh really?" Kailyn asked with a slight raise of her brow,

"Not anything, I have some standards JJ." Brian shot back with a frown,

"Yeah, two. Is the girl willing and is she actually a woman." JJ laughed back, "Honestly though Brian, that's a little fucked up with you did fuck Nicole when she's all pissed like that." JJ said with a shake of his head, not very surprised in Brian's actions, "Plus, weren't you going for Anna? Whatever happened to that?"

"Uh..." Brian hummed back while rubbing the back of his neck while Kailyn kept his eyes trained on the teen, "Eric did!" He suddenly exclaimed, more excited that he could find a reason other than, I'm still working on that, I'm just fucking some girls in the meantime. "Yeah, Anna's gone all doe-eyed for her ex, and now I'm left on the side." Kailyn narrowed her eyes immediately, clearly not liking being known as an on the side girl.

"So you just left her alone with him all day?" JJ asked, nearly bewildered by his friend's sudden idiocy. Usually, Brian was very keen with women, but now he was acting like a fool, "Jesus dude, being a friend who doesn't push her, doesn't mean you don't fight for her!"

"I was just...giving her some time to settle down." Brian stumbled back, once again not wanting JJ to catch on to the real reason he chose to the caves, catching a midday fuck with his sister,

"Whatever man, your call," JJ sighed with a shake of his head. As JJ lowered his head and thought things over for a second, Brian and Kailyn locked eyes, Brian attempting to read the girl who now looked a bit pissed, though he couldn't tell her level. "Oh shiiiiiit," JJ suddenly groaned out,

"What?" Kailyn asked with a confused look,

"Nicole lost her shit because Kenny and Mindy hooked up, and we just left them alone at the cabin all day." JJ replied with another groan, "Fuck, Mindy's not a fighter, she hates confrontation. If Nikki tries to fight with her..."

"Hey, calm down, it's okay. I don't think either one of them was looking for a fight this morning. If anything, I think they just wanted Kenny's attention. Seeing as he picked neither of them, they shouldn't really be holding any resentment." Kailyn assured her younger brother,

"Yeah, exactly," Brian awkwardly agreed before letting out a small cough and walking forward, happy to have a chance to leave the conversation, "Here, we're gonna need to start heading up the mountain a little, the entrance is on the cliff side," Brian said to the pair, wondering if he should pull Kailyn to the side at some point and try to explain himself. If anything, Brian didn't want the girl telling his sister that she hated him, as he'd never hear the end of that.
