Breath of the Wild

The first thing John feels is that he's falling and the wind whipping around his ears. He slowly opens his eyes and is briefly blinded by the sun. But when he can see normally again, he realizes that he really is in free fall.

John: AAAHHHH! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!

He looks down and forms an X formation with his body to fall a little slower. He can make out a little, he's over a desert. But before he could make out anything else, he falls into an oasis. He emerges, breathing heavily, and swims to the shore to crawl onto land and flop onto his back. Breathing heavily, he looks around a little, he is actually in a desert at an oasis, a kind of stone formation is at the oasis which is probably used as a kind of house from the look of it, with a few smaller stalls surround the oasis.

John: What the fuck? I was just on the train when-

He sits up and opens his shirt to look at his body. There are three small scars.

John: bullet scars. I was shot on the train and then I was isekai'd. Great...

He gets up and looks around.

John: What do I do now?

But he is startled when someone taps him on the shoulder from behind. He turns and sees a dark-skinned woman standing behind him dressed in purple oriental clothing.

???: Hehehe~ Don't be alarmed, I just wanted to ask if you're okay. You've had a pretty bad fall.

John looks at the Oasis.

John: To be honest, I don't quite understand it either... With the speed at which I fell, the water should have been like concrete.

The woman looks at him a bit confused.

John: Forget what I said... I'm John.

???: Vasaaq. My name is Vilia, nice to make your acquaintance.

That's when it hits John.

John: *Thoughts* "Vasaaq"? "Vilia"? Did I end up in "Breath of the Wild"? Would explain why this all seems familiar to me. *Out loud* Likewise.

Vilia then takes a closer look at him.

Vilia: I have to say I've never seen a Hylian with round ears.

John quickly touches one of his ears.

John: Oh yeah, because...

Vilia: Just like your clothes, I've never seen anything like that.

John laughs nervously.

John: Yes... I come from far away.

Vilia puts a hand on her chin under her veil.

Vilia: Let's make a deal, you won't last long across the desert in these clothes. I give you new clothes and in return you give me your old ones.

John raises an eyebrow. He remembers that she is the one who gives Link the Gerudo armor.

John: Men's clothes right?

Vilia seems briefly surprised before nodding.

Vilia: Of course! Go into the tent over there and change.

He does as she says and changes his clothes and he has to say the clothes are really good.

Vilia: You look really good.

John: Thanks.

Vilia: And what will you do now?

John: I'll have a look around the area.
