Breakfast

The odd pair found themselves eating breakfast on the worn-out couch together. Nicola had inexplicably managed to scrounge two bowls from the kitchen that were only somewhat dirty, and so they ate dry, stale cereal that expired the week prior.

Glancing over at her, William wanted to wail in angst at the mere sight of the girl, it felt so cruel to have their companionship last for only a day. She was wearing a set of navy pyjamas, the satin trousers accenting her beautiful curves as she curled up on her side of the couch, and the button-up shirt seemingly threatening to burst her breasts open for the world to see. He had made no mention of the sounds he had heard that night, although his mind refused to forfeit the image of her chest rising up and down as she touched herself...

William could tell that the gorgeous woman was embarassed by the messiness of the dormitory, and he was in equal measure disgusted by it, but made pretenses of not noticing so as to avoid further humiliation for the poor girl. He had always been under the impression that women are tidier than men, but Nicola was clearly an exception to the rule.

"It's not usually this messy, you know." It was the first time she had spoke since she handed him the cereal.

"I've seen worse."

"Liar." There was a slight smile on her face, but William didn't know how to respond. "So, how did you get that scholarship?"

"I placed first in the competition." He didn't mean it as a brag, even if it came out that way. At this point, not coming first in an academic setting would have been a greater surprise to those that knew him than otherwise.

"How old are you?" Nicola continued prying, hoping for some less awkward conversation.

"Eighteen. You?"

"Twenty-five. I feel like a grandma when I walk around campus because of how much older I am than the average student here. Technically, I have all the credits I need to graduate, but I've been having second thoughts about my degree for ages, so I just kept signing up for random classes."

He smiled at her jest, but William didn't know how he was meant to reply; he had never been alone with a girl like this, nevermind one that he was attracted to. Gazing at her though, he would be kidding himself if he thought he had a chance.

"You don't talk much, do you, Mister Huntsby?" Her face betrayed bemusement at his evident lack of comfort in her presence, the olive-skinned girl already sensing that he was somewhat of a stranger to women.

He avoided her gaze, instead choosing to decipher the patterns in the dry cereal. "Uh no, not really."

"Hey, its cool, I know this place is a pigsty and really not what you had in mind, and I am probably the worst person you could think of to share a place with. I'm sorry I was a bit rude to you last night, I just didn't know you were going to be here and I reacted badly. Let's get changed, then we'll go down to admin. Okay?"

Seeing him nod, she gracefully lifted herself off the couch. As she bounced towards her room, her toned ass swayed with her hips such that William couldn't help but consider the irony that sometimes the best thing about beautiful women was when you watched one walk away.
