Obviously this was a trap. What woman would willingly let a guy into a sanctuary on a dumb grudge when she was completely ****? Now that I was inside I figured I only had seconds to act before the jaws, whatever they were, snapped shut. I lunged forward and grabbed her arm, ready to claim her. Once she was mine, she would happily reveal whatever her plan was. Or so I hoped.
