Out of the comfort and safety of his mother’s womb, a baby boy is brought into the world. His features not yet completely defined, but nonetheless a beautiful child. As both parents gaze in amazement at their son, he is cleansed and handed back to his mother. She holds him lovingly, and he closes his eyes and bathes in the comfort of his mother’s bosom. Sophia, too, closes her eyes and rests peacefully. Her slumber, well deserved. Your father thanks the gods for your safe arrival, and all is well.
