I was a little disappointed by Isa's lack of interest in me as a potential partner. It's not that bad though, I don't think. I mean Isa was still up to play and that'd be fun and all... I haven't been motivated lately to do anything and I even seem to be going through the motions when on duty.

I couldn't fend them off forever and we've managed to find an M-class planet that had some friendly warp class locals living on it. They managed to convince me to come out with them for some shore leave there. I think it'll help, actually. It'll take my mind off this whole sex obsession I've been going through the last while anyways. The people, the Hromgnnrs... I hope that's how they pronounce it... they're not humanoid. Ergo, I will not have any urges to hump the locals. Another thing to keep my hands to myself? Their environment is water based, so we'll be in environmental suits the whole time.

They sort of resemble cephalopods. I don't know if I can count how many arms they have, way more than eight or nine. Their faces even have tiny tentacles that make them look like they have giant mustaches. Their domes are smooth though, rounded like an octopus rather than pointed like a squid. Anything else about their anatomy is hidden away. They're highly intelligent though and willing to trade. I'm hoping to get some star charts from them for the next expanse we are scheduled to pass through.

Jenny wants to try the cuisine there of course. Kari just wants to hang out and get off the ship, which I think everyone can get onboard with. Wait. Get off board with? Ah, forget it. Anyways, the whole crew has two days of shore leave while the ship will be docked for the week. It needs some R&R too after traveling so far. Of course, Lieutenants Bethan and Barbieri were trying to recruit me to do some upgrades to the shuttles. With access to supplies, we may be able to make some significant improvements.
