Chapter 49
by SingingLark
Tomorrow?
Book of Lux
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can." Liandra was engrossed by what she was reading. The simple words rang true to the princess on a deeply spiritual level. She spent most of the morning in bed, and had no intention of leaving before noon.
Intellectual curiosity was only part of the reason why Liandra decided to stay in bed. Truth be told her ass was hurting so much it made her question if she would ever have sex again. Any kind of sex. Of course she did enjoy it, she was still playing with her pussy whenever she remembered it, but whenever she tried to sit.... perhaps she had been injured, and she needed a healer's attention.
Regardless, the book made her reconsider many of her decisions. It spoke of tolerance, temperance, acceptance. Of working together. She could do all of that, right? This was the start of a new age for Luxius, she felt it in her heart.
By noon her splinter did, in fact, stop hurting, and she had been able to finish reading most of the book. So she decided to give back the Book to the Church, but the Chaplain had a novel idea. "Why don't you read it yourself to our flock? We can start at dawn tomorrow, I am sure the princess would attract many more people than an old man like me." And of course Liandra agreed.
Later that night, she couldn't sleep. She felt restless, eager. She often spoke in public, but never before on such an important subject. She almost gave up on sleeping, but had an idea instead 'maybe i should roam the castle corridors, find myself another man... I slept very well after last night's thirst'
Should the princess?
