Blinking in confusion I turned to look at Tao, her ever present smile seeming to radiate something more, a sense of excitement that I hadn't seen from her before. However, instead of looking at me Tao was focused on something else, given the direction of her gaze I guessed it had to be Dr. Litchi. In confusion I turned back to Litchi, the object of Tao's stare, only to find the respected and otherwise well composed doctor to have a face of pure crimson, her blush reaching down her neck and into the hem of her doctors garb leaving me to wonder what was going on. "Um...Dr. Litchi, do you know what Tao means?" I asked, venturing out with a simple question.

Litchi jumped at my voice, turning to me and blushing even harder, something that I didn't know was possible, "Y-Yes...I do." Clearing her throat momentarily Litchi attempted to regain her composure, her attempt falling flat when one considered her radical flush, "In the Kaka clan there are only a few number of males and many of the kittens born are female. Because of this, there is a tradition of males having more than one mate, effectively creating a larger gene pool for one male and thus a better chance of breeding another male." My eyebrow quirked as I looked up to Tao, her smile so wide her eyes had closed, "That's right boobie lady! Now that you're here you can be John Guy's second meow!"

I heard Litchi sputter once more, her surprise at Tao's bluntness as well as her obvious embarrassment doing nothing to calm her voice and person, "T-Tao! That is very inappropriate! What if John didn't want another mate?" "I certainly wouldn't mind," I piped up, taking a sip of my tea as Litchi looked at me, her face turning a darker scarlet, "You certainly are a beautiful woman and I wouldn't mind having you here as a seconds mate." Tao hugged me tighter, her sleeved arms holding me with delight as she nuzzled into my shoulder with pure elation, "Yay! Boobie Lady and Tao are John Guy's Mates!"

"W-Wait a minute!" Litchi finally spoke up, her voice very uneven as she attempted to look angry, "What makes either of you think that I want this?" I shrugged, sipping my tea before setting it down completely, "Well Litchi, my first clue was the fact that you asked Tao if "I" had a problem with it instead of mentioning the same comment for yourself. Either you were absent minded and addressed my imaginary discomfort first or you were all to happy to go along with Tao's idea but concerned about my opinion." Tao blinked a couple of times in confusion, "Meow? John Guy, what was all that about?" I chuckled, reaching up and scratching Tao gently behind her ear, reducing her to a twitchy Kaka puddle as I continued, "Second, your earlier outburst as well as several other signals led me to believe you were interested from the beginning."

Letting Tao go I smiled, Litchi looking down at her hands like a kid who was caught in the cookie jar, "And third...well third I haven't quite proven yet..." Litchi was quick to regain some ground, looking up at me as I rose from my seat, "Exactly! All of this "proof" can be easily explained away with logical misunderstandings and you don't even have a final piece of evid-" Litchi was cut off as I captured her lips with mine, kissing her hard from the get go, her body stiffening from surprise but slowly loosening up. Her eyes fluttered closed before she wrapped her arms around me, her tongue lightly probing my lips, begging for entrance which I happily granted.

After a slow and sensual kiss I broke away from Litchi, a smirk on my lips as I cupped her chin, "I said I didn't have it YET. But...considering how much you enjoyed that kiss, I think I have me final proof, don't you agree?" Litchi nodded in my grasp, her eyes showing her pleasure hazed mind, I was willing to bet that she was putty in my hands...
