Boba Fett

The silhouette of the Mandolorian was a fierce and scary figure. Even from a far the outline of his helmet and jet pack were unmistakable. Moving from behind the dead guard Boba Fett slowly walked into the room.

The way he walked and the emotionless look of his helmet made Leia feel uneasy. It always did but this time, with the guard dead, Leia knew something was off. Still she remained silent and watched him move closer. Almost as if she had read the script she knew that Boba was about to do something nefarious. You don't kill one of Jabba's guards for no reason. Especially if you're one of his most trusted bounty hunters.

Maybe he's coming to rescue me Leia thought, though she knew he wasn't the generous and kind type. If he's freeing me it will be to sell me off to someone else. Either way Leia hoped against hope that this would lead to her leaving Jabba's slimy grasp.

Watching Boba step closer Leia saw he held a torch, to cut her chain she hoped. And in his other hand a trank dart gun, presumably to be subtle in an escape. Excitement filled Leia's heart. She could finally be free of her leash. Again though she remained silent, waking Jabba was not in her best interest right now.

Finally Boba reached the throne and reached out to grab Leia's chain, just below where Jabba held it. Holding a finger to where his mouth would be, be quiet he meant. Leia eagerly nodded. This was it, her chance.

A small flash of light and a not too loud buzz and the leash was cut in two. Boba picked up the end and waved his hand, come with me he meant. Again Leia nodded and slowly climbed off the throne. Turning to see Jabba was still asleep Leia followed Boba. Not that she had much choice. What little of the leash was still hanging from her collar was tight in Boba's hand.

They stepped out the room in some haste and down a few corridors but then it happened. An alarm went off around their heads. Jabba had found his **** missing and raised alert. This was going to be a bit more difficult now.
