Bluff

I had to bluff my way out of this. I took a confident superhero pose. "Fine, you guys got me. My name is Nova Girl and I've come here to bring Dr. Zero to justice." They all lowered their guns slightly. "Nova Girl? Never heard of you." I jutted by hips to the side slightly. "I'm new to the scene. Dr. Zero is going to be my first collar." I started wagging my finger at them trying to be intemidating. "I'm only here for Zero. So why don't you guys just run along before you get hurt. Or do you really think those guns will be able to hurt me?"

The guys all looked at each other. Please buy it, please buy it. "They all shruged before pointing their guns at me again and coaxing matallic clicks out their guns. This made me jump. "Ha! Look at that, she's bluffing!!!" Damn! I thought henchmen where supposed to be stupid. "Fine! I don't have any superpowers. Happy?" The again lowered their weapons and looked at each other with confused looks. "So....do you have gadgets?" I wraped my arms around myself looking down at the ground. "No." They then all lowered their guns. "Know any hand to hand combat." I was starting to blush with embaressment. "No." They all started laughing. "So what can you do Nova Girl." They said that last part mockingly. I glared at them. "I found you guys didn't I?" They all looked at each other and started nodding in agreement. "Well give you that."

By this point, I had come to the conclusion that I was in over my head. "Alright, so you guys have me figured out. Can you guys just let me go and forget this ever happened?" They stopped with the mocking tone and looked back at me with serious looks. "Sorry doll but we can't let you go now that you've found our hideout." One of them came up behind me and nudged me forward with his **** rifle. "Let's go babe." We then started walking further into the factory.

They lead me to what appeared to be a mess hall and into the kitchen. THey opened the walk in freeze and shoved me in. I almost instantly slipped on the ice and fell flat on my face. I looked back at them as they watched me. "So what now, you guys going to keep me on ice?" They laughed. "Don't worry babe, we aren't going to hurt ya. The boss is busy right now and doesn't want to be disturbed. Once he's finished, we'll bring him down here and see what he wants to do with you." I started to shiver. Both because I was cold and because I scared. "Frostbite, stay here and keep an eye on her." One of the men, Frostbite took a long look at me before saying. "Right, no problem." They all walked out and shut the door behind them. I could here them lock it and could see Frostbite still out there. He took another long look at me before leaving the view of the small window.

I started to shiver again. It had just occurred me that I didn't weather proof my costume. I was freezing in this stupid prison....and it was intend for food, not captive wannabe superheroines. What on earth was I thinking coming here. Might as well wait and hope that Zero decides to let me go....but then again, what kind of superhero would I be if I didn't try to escape.
