Chapter 23 by Sojaxx

What's their challenge?

Blindfolded Chemical-Mixing

One stagehand brought out a blindfold while two others wheeled out a table topped with a chemistry set. All the beakers were filled with various colorful chemicals. Some were murky, others were transparent. While the first stagehand wrapped the blindfold around Lindsay's eyes, Blaineley stood with her microphone in hand. "Alright, girls. Here's how this is going to work. Lindsay, you're going to take these chemicals and mix them all together. One their own, these bad boys can really mess you up. When mixed together, they could do unrepairable damage. But, if mixed properly, they cancel each other out and become harmless.

"Sounds fun," chimed Lindsay. "This'll be my first time making a drink instead of getting bought one. But why do I have to wear this blindfold? Are you throwing me a surprise party?

"It's amazing you've managed to live this long," Blaineley remarked. "No, you're going to rely on Beth to instruct you on how to mix these chemicals. She's got the notes in front of her and will tell you what beakers to get and how much to use. Pull this off and you'll get a point. Mess this up, and you'll be in last place with Leshawna."

"Can someone give me my glasses back?" Beth squinted. "It's hard to read the instructions."

"Oh you won't need them. It's not like we bothered putting labels on these. "

"But a lot of these look the same."

"That's the point. Can't make it too easy for you, can we? Let's start the clock.

The timer lowered once more and started counting down. Beth peered at her book and tried her best to distinguish the bears from one another. Her vision was fuzzy but she still tried to relay the instructions to her best ability. 'Okay uh... take the yellow one. No, the other yellow one. Okay, now pour in just a little...or a lot. I-I guess that's enough. Now take the orangish-red one, no, no wait! I mean the orangish-yellow one. Just a couple drops of that." This went on for some time, with Beth slapping the cart as she bounced and directed Lindsay.

"Please tell me she's almost done," Gwen hoped, her erection persisting and sticky substance oozing out from underneath her podium.

"Okay, just dump the entire purple beaker in and we're done," Beth instructed. "At the very right!"

"It smells kind of funny," Lindsay noted. She poured the beaker into the bubbling turqouise concoction. "I hope this is a diet drink." Lindsay chugged the beaker and slammed it on the cart like it was a shot glass. "BRRRUUuuuuuUUUUUURRRRRpPPPPP!"

"Nice one. Let's give you a minute and see if you got it right or not," said Blaineley.

Did they mix it right? If not, what happens?
