Blake's Treatment and a Conversation

Armeccitti dabbed at Blake's cut, "Keep still." She instructed, moving the damp cotton swab over his wound.

Blake winced at the stinging disinfectant, "I'm trying."

"Good... So, do you want to explain what this is all about?"

Blake sighed, he could hear the sympathetic tone of the Doctor, but it was still a sore issue. "Maybe not right now, I- Ah!" He flinched again. "Is this really necessary?" He turned to face Armeccitti.

"Of course it is! You cut yourself! Imagine the infections you could get! It would be terrible." Armeccitti smiled warmly at him, running a hand along his cheek, "I am done though." She got up and walked around in front of him, looking him in the eyes. "You know I only want what is best for you. You can't go about stopping that other one from getting into trouble all the time. "

He frowned, "Lexi does have a name too. You don't have to call her the other one."

"Then Lexi needs to be allowed to get into trouble herself. You merely have to punish her like anyone else, then she will learn her lesson and she doesn't get sent to the DO."

Blake smirked.

"What?"

"You sound just like her. She said that exact thing."

Armeccitti looked less than thrilled by this revelation, "Yes, well, I said she was a troublemaker, not stupid... What did you say in response."

Blake shrugged, "Conflict of interest."

Armeccitti raised an eyebrow, "You go around spanking people who you don't like when they break the rules, what's so different about her?'

Blake shook his head, "It's not her, it's her." He motioned to Daria, "and the fact that she wants to sleep with me."

"Daria wants to sleep with you?" Armeccitti's eyes narrowed.

Blake facepalmed, "No, I meant Lexi." He clarified, he wasn't got to broach that hill with Armecitti yet.

She rolled her eyes, "Well, that isn't much of a surprise though is it? Just tell her no and if she won't accept that..." She stared at Blake recognising some aspect of his expression, "You are actually considering it?!" Armeccitti asked incredulously.

Blake looked more than a little uncomfortable and saw the Doctor' expression soften. "It's only if Daria clears it... I don't know where we stand but I don't want to risk anything."

Armeccitti sighed, "Looks as though you are in quite the predicament." Blake stood up and the pair embraced, "You know I am always here for you. I will have advice even when you do not want it."

Blake smiled at her, "I know... You know what I'm like sometimes... It's just... Yeah..." He could see she understood what he meant, "Anyway, thanks for the help. I should really run, I'll be by tomorrow to check on her."

Armeccitti nodded and watched as the Stallion exited the wing, sighed to herself and set about her work once more, gathering up the loose cotton swabs, disinfectant and medical pliers strewn across the bed. She hoped Blake would be okay, the boy deserved a change in luck...
