Onwards!
Blades, Spells, and Branches...
The group draw up with their backs to the boll of an enormous tree, surrounding the prisoner's. Soon the enemy close into view.
"Release our sisteren abomination!" Their leader, (a tall and broad chested Paladin sworn to Iomidae with silver hair and ruby red lips) demands, sword leveled at Kurvannug and her companions.
"Release the people held captive in the village and they will be returned unharmed!" Kurvannug counters.
"You are in no position to make demands monster, we are the Silver Six, and better than you have tried to defeat us and Failed!" The Paladin boasts. The name means nothing to the group, which is a pitty: suddenly Vol has an arrow in flight and the battle is joined!
Briefly.
The nude water aspect halfling who the group had missed casts a spell and the trees come alive around them! Within a double handful of seconds the group are reduced to a fine red paste with mighty blows of wooden limbs, and just like that the fight is over.
The rest of their band are soon found by the mercenaries which the "Silver Six" have hired to help them with their butchery. They are taken to be sold as slaves in the Hancientic League and none of them survive more than seven years.
The Hancientic plot to seize control of the rich gem veins of the Volrod Mountains succeeds this time, and with the added currency from trading in them they hire sell swords that push the tribal lands south to the edge of the badlands.
Kurvannug of course knows none of this however, like her husband and slaves, she is dead...
Things to vote on this time:
This is the first "Bad End" of the story, but rest assured, it won't be the last. However, that's the beauty of a CHYOA story, just because you fail, doesn't mean the story's over!

0: From the very beginning, new characters, new area, new story. (You can't cheat fate...)
1: The start of Kurvannug's Story. (Who says you can't cheat Fate? If Cohen the Barbarian can do it why can't we?)
2: Kurvannug Binding Mintrachank. (I want the sexy bits to be ok...)
3: Closing the leader of the group. (Clearly Kurvannug didn't do a good job...)
4: Closing our direction. (What are the odds we run into this group of Adventurers in a different direction?) {if Minion: Mintrachank = true} [A lot higher than you think...] {else} ... {endif}
5: Aproaching Buglachvag. (Other options were left unexplored...)
You may vote for up to 3 options, but only the top one, (or MAYBE two;) will actually be worked on...
(As usual, we advance when we have at least 3 votes, I form the tie breaker, and if we don't have 3 votes in a week I pick whichever option I prefer from what we DO have...)
