What's next?
Blackseid, the Hero.
In this new reality, Jaseid’s mother, Tifani, had lost her life to gang **** when he was 9. That was the catalyst that propelled Jaseid to embrace a life of crime-fighting.
Thanks to the abilities which he had inherited from his now written-out father, Jaseid proved to be an effective **** for good. As his fame spread, so did his social circle in the hero sphere. Over the years, he often teamed up with other famous heroes and was key to takin down several powerful villains.
But even the most powerful heroes had to start somewhere. After his mother’s ****, Jaseid declared war on the criminal gangs and organized crime elements around his neighborhood. When he was 12 years old, Jaseid allied with a superhero family team to defeat one of their villain arch-nemesis. The family was impressed by the potent strength and powers of the young black boy. Upon discovering that Jaseid was an orphaned child, they decided to adopt him and welcome him into the family.
By sheer fate or irony, his new family was “Hightower,” the same heroes who had defeated him in his previous life and locked him away.
Jaseid also accepted the fact that he lacked mastery over his powerful abilities early in his life. As such, he constantly sought ways to improve himself. His new family were very supportive and they had very good connections whom they leveraged to find masters who would train and educate Jaseid.
The Hightower heroes introduced Jaseid to the Ancient One in the mystical sanctuary of Kamar-Taj in Tibet. Jaseid started learning magic and mystic arts under the tutelage of the Ancient One, the same master who would also end up training Dr. Stephen Strange in the future.
Thanks to Jaseid’s ability to teleport with the Omega Effect, he could easily alternate between home and Kamar-Taj for training. This allowed him to juggle his superhero work and magic training.
Jaseid had never met Dr. Strange in person during his time in Kamar-Taj, however, in this reset reality, Jaseid would be the one who was eventually chosen by the Cloak of Levitation before Strange had his chance.
Some time later, the Hightower heroes also introduced Jaseid to the King of Wakanda, who was impressed by the boy’s strength. He was accepted to train in the Wakandan warrior ways and arts of war alongside the older royal prince T’challa, whom Jaseid quickly formed a friendship with.
Due the changes in causality of this reseted reality, Wakanda’s future events were also altered. In this reality, T’challa was defeated and permanently maimed by Killmonger when the latter challenged the young king for the throne.
Enraged by Killmonger’s deed, Jaseid challenged the usurper and single-handedly slew Killmonger in single battle.
By custom, Jaseid would have inherited the throne, but it was not possible because Jaseid did not have Wakandan blood. The tribes would never accept him. Besides, Jaseid was too young anyways.
Thus T’challa resumed the throne of Wakanda. However, after having been permanently maimed by Killmonger, T’challa was no longer capable as a warrior. As such, T’challa decided to award the mantle of Black Panther to Jaseid, who subsequently received a customized Vibranium-weave Black Panther suit of his own, and several accompanying Wakandan tech for his own use.
Now as the full-fledged superhero Blackseid, Jaseid prowls the dark alleys and ivory towers of Gotham City in the iconic Black Panther suit and Sorcerer’s cape, exacting justice on the wicked.
