Chapter 16 by wraith1113 wraith1113

What's next?

Black: King's Pawn e7 > e5

Another swarm of broodlings patrolled the Nesting Site, paying particular care to the Nest creatures currently thoroughly inspecting their fertile payload. In methods that had baffled Federation scientists, and likely would continue to do so, the breeders under their charge were subtly altered. The icorish fluid that now surrounded them slowly healed all maladies, even old scarring from years past. It would keep them young and fresh as a Hive breeder, even beyond their life expectancy in their natural environment. They would be put to utmost use for the Hive!

Satisfied with the changes that had taken effect, the Brood Queen inspected them further. It appeared that all but two had been fertilized by the Broodlings that had initially liberated their bodies. This was to be expected, as whatever their weaknesses Broodlings were particularly virile. These breeders would produce their first Hive Spawn in a matter of a day or two, their bellies showing the first sign of their precious cargo within a matter of hours and their breasts growing with nutritious nectar a few hours after that.

That left the remaining two. The first was a small thing, olive complexion and short black fur patches, she was young, fertile, and easily stimulated. It appeared the only reason she hadn't been seeded by the Broodlings is due to her Grub filling her womb several times. The grubs, while just as vigorous with captured prey, were not themselves capable of reproduction but instead the result of nest creatures producing offspring with no viable host. This breeder had essentially had her insides washed clean of the Broodling's cum before it had a chance to take.

The other was different, not just because of her darker skin, older and not quite as fertile as perhaps she once was. She had resisted more than the others and seemed to put up more fight still, even if in vain. Good, hopefully such tenacity would be inherited from her young.

The Brood Mother decided to dedicate these breeders, at least for now, to the production of a new Nest. It would take much longer, perhaps a week, and would tax their bodies to their limits, but the Hive required it. That said, these 2 wouldn't be nearly enough... a new Nest would require many more.
