A hot new trend was bikini baristas. These were coffee shops and kiosks where the servers would be bikini clad women! It was clearly a desperate attempt to draw in customers.

Unfortunately, the Coffee Jitter was a desperate coffee shop. They'd been in the red for months. Chain coffee shops were driving them out of business. So, in desperation, the owner Mike went searching for strategies to keep the business afloat. That was when he discovered this bikini barista trend. So, as a last ditch effort to save his business, he decided to try it.
