Liam looked at Emma her eyebrows raised and expectant, before saying "Only joking, Not married, not even close" he took in her dropped mouth expression. "I just wanted to see the look on your face" he teased.

She sighed, it was so typical of him, like she had been transported to years previous. He had not changed, but part of her was glad of that. It was a rock solid point in a new uncertain time for her. "You nob, I thought you were going to give me some juice" she exvlaimed.

Liam laughed and she joined in. "Sorry Emma I couldn't resist. I knew what a slut for gossip you are" he said cheekily. She felt her face redden, he was no wrong but she did not love the term gossip slut. They continued talking into the evening.
