Bide your time

Despite the bloodcurdling scream, the witch keeps half an eye on you. You are pretty sure you couldn't have reached it in time.

Angel stops screaming. You run to her. The witch with the ruby, Sasha, walks to Angel. In front of you she offers Angel a hand.

Angel grabs the hand and stands up. She turns toward you and smiles.

She seems fine. "Angel? Are you ok?

"I'm fine. There is nothing here to fear."

Sasha interjects. "There is nothing at all to fear. The age of the witch is upon us."

"When you screamed it scared me."

She points at Sasha. "She helped me, but there was a moment of...pain."

"But, Beth said..."

Sasha interrupts. "Demons lie my pretty. I am sorry I must look disturbing and scary to you."

Angel looks at Sasha. "You don't..."

"She is our guest. She should feel welcome."

Sasha waves her hand. Her body shimmers. Her breasts seem to inflate, the color of her flesh returns. She looks like a porn princess. Any trace of the hideous green skinned woman is gone. You actually find yourself attracted to her.

She offers you a hand. "You see, my pretty, I'm perfectly friendly."

Instinctively you kiss her hand.

"Angel, show her around. Make her feel...at home. And, do find her a change of clothes, those must be uncomfortable."

Angel beckons you to follow.
