Chapter 16 by henrytemp
Does anything else happen with Alex and Makayla? Or check in on Bianca and Brian?
Bianca and Brian
Brian was standing, leaning on the rail of the porch in front of the cabin, when Bianca walked up and stood next to him, their shoulders touching. They both said nothing, just observed the silence of the woods around them. Brian was the first to break it.
"She did good, put him in his place. He was scared, knew he came really close to fucking up."
"Thanks Bri for... everything," she replied.
"I actually felt guilty, that I was distracted and... but when I saw his face I knew she had set him straight, better than if I had."
"She's strong. Still a little shy, but strong," Bianca added.
"She's had a good mentor," Brian said as he smiled and they kind of bumped shoulders.
They spent another few minutes in silence.
"You want to talk about it?" Bianca asked.
Brian looked at her, then looked down and shook his head.
"When you do, you know I'm here."
"I know Bi," he responded, "It's just..."
"The way you ended up together, I think you've always worried she'd do the same to you," Bianca said consoling him.
Brian acknowledged she was right with a simple nod.
"Whatever happens, worrying is pointless, I know that sounds stupid. She'll be here in a few days and all will be clear then."
Brian looked up and ran his fingers through Bianca's hair.
"I'm supposed to be the one to cheer you up," he said.
"Friendship runs two ways," she added.
They both looked at each other for a few moments until Bianca leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. As she pulled away they looked at each other intently almost longingly.
"I... I'll see you tomorrow," Bianca added.
"Yeah... yeah tomorrow," Brian stuttered out.
Bianca then hurried away, but not back to her cabin... somewhere else to clear her head.
Where does Bianca go? Does she run into anyone?
