Chapter 75 by sacchito22 sacchito22

How goes the gathering?

Better than expected. Not great, but better.

Alison brought the three newcomers into her bedroom where she'd already gathered the older women of the house, plus the three ex-troublemakers.

"What sort of 'family meeting' are you throwing today Ali?" Maeve asked as she kept up behind the pregnant milf.

Alison figured she could drop this little grenade on the actual practitioners since they were going to be helping in a few minutes. "I'm going to be revealing magic to my family, including all of the women Max has been gathering up."

That got both Maeve and Himeko to freeze in their tracks. Maeve knew from that little trick she helped pull in her club that there were at least two cops and several other women in that 'extended family.' The more people, the harder it is to keep a secret is a fundamental rule in hiding from the mainstream society. Himeko was stunned at the realization that the rest of such a powerful caster's direct or indirect family not knowing about magic and at the fear that ran through her of breaking a taboo in her clan, revealing magic to regular mortals. Hope didn't quite get it, but knew something was up, but she had a bit of a special case with her upbringing in a clan of magical practitioners. Even though Hope didn't have the gift of magecraft, she still held an abundance of mana in herself, which manifested in her boundless stamina, infectious charisma, and near supernatural sense of other's arousal.

Alison paused to turn back to her three guests with a smile that wouldn't look out of place on a cheshire cat in an acid trip. "Play along my dears, help me explain magic to my family, and I'll explain why I can naturally produce green mana like I do now." At that, Alison flexed her mystical powers, just to give her guests an idea of what she could do now.

To Maeve and Himeko, the world seemed to darken as they felt Alison cycle her mana before them. Spellcasters usually did this to meditate on their own mana in privacy, or to show off to others with the ability to perceive the flows of mana as it was released and reabsorbed. To those perceiving, it would be like watching the showboat create flowing rivers in the air around of their raw mana as it flowed out and back into themselves. The average caster's mana was generally around as thick as basketball or volleyball.

But Alison was no normal sorceress.

And she wasn't even trying to reabsorb her released mana.

The redheaded woman's vibrant green magic seemed to go nuclear to her fellow spell slingers, erupting into a dominating display that pushed Himeko back a step as she felt the oppressive power push against her. Hope could even feel the raw magic push against her, like a tidal wave that she couldn't perceive, but could feel.

What stunned both Maeve and Himeko though wasn't just the pure **** the gravid redhead could put out, but the fact that they could feel her replenishing herself, without an influx of mana from the area around her.

As suddenly as it started, it ended. The oppressive pressure released and the sorceresses felt the nuclear core that had been redheaded mage revert back to the normal restrained way she had been moments before.

All three were quiet as Alison smiled at them and continued down the hall. "Come along when you can, darlings." grinned over her shoulder as she headed to her room.

Maeve took only a few heartbeats before continuing onward towards the back room. She'd always known Alison was strong, but that.

That was twice the power her teacher had been at his absolute peak. With several rituals and artifacts augmenting his strength.

Whatever Alison wanted to do, she was down. Helping reveal magic to a country would be worth figuring out how she was able to generate that kind of power.

Himeko took a few moments longer as she had to gather her thoughts. The raw power just exhibited by that beautiful redhead was more than the greater spirits that the clan summoned on occasion. Combined. Even the forbidden ones.

If there was some secret to the expectant sorceress, she just had to know it. Not even for the sake of her clan, but just her own curiosity. Something inside her resonated with interest at the lush green mana that had been released. She had to know more.

The mother took a step forward, pulling her concerned daughter forward for once, with determination in her eyes.

This, this was why her visions had sent her here.

Alison entered her bedroom that was a little more crowded than usual. Her sister Britteny, her daughter Illyana, her neighbor Megan, two of Max's teachers; Shanti and Gabrielle, two cops; Dessa and Dee, and three young women; Tiffanty, Maria, and Carmen were all finding various places to sit on her bed, at her desk, on her hamper and anyplace else they could find a comfortable spot. Thankfully Alison knew some grand meetings might happen like this at some point and had made a point to keep things a little extra tidy, just in case.

"Thank you for coming ladies, if you'll just give me a moment, I'll start the discussion I want to have with you all." Alison said as she made her way to her closet. While she technically should have kept this with the rest of her mystical equipment, it was just too comfy to snuggle under to leave it with the rest of her ritual gear.
She pulled out a nice throw blanket from a little basket she kept it in that had some very odd symbols and shapes woven into the stitching. It had taken a long time, but she'd managed to weave an enchantment into the blanket for it to reveal unseen mana above it to the naked eye. Why? So she could throw it over any table and turn it into a workspace on spell structures and enchantment layering. It just also happened to be a very soft blanket that was perfect for snuggling. These days, mostly for snuggling.

But, it would work for her purposes, particularly making unseen magics perceivable to naked mortal eyes.

Turning back to the rest of the room, Alison noticed her three houseguests had joined them in the room. Hope had gone over to the other three younger women to talk, apparently surprised to see the three of them there.

Alison figured to get the show on the road, since it was a little stuffy in the room with so many bodies in it. She walked to the middle of the room and the general chatter of the room quieted.

"Thank you all again, I'm afraid I have something to discuss with all of you." Alison started, taking a moment to look around the room. Illyana looked like she had figured out what she was going to say already, her clever girl. Officer Dessa though was staring straight at her with rapt attention, her partner Dee occasionally giving a worried look at her superior officer.

"I'm sure all of you have noticed some... unusual happenings around recently. Especially around a particular man we have all come to adore." she continued. That got a round of nods and small smiles around the room.

"For those of you who might not have completely realized, please realize that one man, alone, in the span of a little over a month, has bedded almost every single woman in this room, several times over. Somehow, never running out of stamina or semen as he's plundered us time and time again." her mind briefly wandered as she thought about the last time she'd taken Max through his paces, swallowing load after load, riding him until he bathed her insides white, having him ravage her with his endless stamina.

Shaking her head for a moment, Alison took another quick look around the room to see how everyone else had taken that. Most were as lost as she had been a moment ago, remembering the last time Max had gone to town on them. "I don't know about all of you, but one man keeping up with any three women in this room, especially me and Gabi would be a myth among men, and probably be supporting himself with little blue pills the whole time." she continued, locking eyes with the shortstack sexpot who's fingers were already starting to inch towards the hem of her very short skirt.

That had gotten some people's attention, more around the room were more speculative than before. Gabrielle and Alison did have a bit of a reputation as 'man-eaters' around town before Max had started getting involved.

"I'm going to explain why, but I'm giving you all my trust with this, and I hope you all swear to secrecy what you're about to hear, and please keep an open mind." a small trickle of worry ran down Alison's spine as she decided to just go for the big reveal. This was still a difficult secret to reveal after keeping it secret for so long.

"Magic is real."

With that statement, Alison raised her arm over the enchanted throw blanket and released a tiny amount of her mana there.

Her words hadn't sunk in entirely when her example of just the existence of mana caused several stunned looks.

Silence reigned for a brief second before a muffled "I knew it!" came from somewhere on the floor above them, followed by joyful screaming of 'IknewitIknewitIknewit'.

Alison rolled her eyes as she knew exactly who'd screamed that. Figuring the cat was already out of the bag, she might as well give a small practical example and flicked her wrist in the direction of the voice.

From her wrist a glowing green gust of wind the size of a sheet of paper flew straight and true, till it disappeared flying through the ceiling.

A second later there was a dull 'smack', a moment of silence before a loud "Sorry Mom!"

Iris was going to feel that spank for a little while, but that was for another time.

That broke the metaphorical spell on everyone and questions began pouring out of almost everyone. Alison, for all her power, couldn't tell what everyone was asking her, so she raised her voice for a moment and infused it with just a tiny amount of mana.

"One at a time! Please. I'm magical, but not that magical. Raise your hand if you have a question and I'll answer it. Everyone just shouting questions at me isn't going to get us anywhere." Alison chided the crowded room.

Dee raised her hand first, surprising most people in the room.

"Yes?" Alison asked.

Dee thankfully had an easy question, "What was that... green thing you... threw?" Dessa rolled her eyes a little but was curious about it.

Alison smiled as she answered, "Well, I know one of my daughters, Ivy, has a bit of a voyeur streak in her, and the other girls who can't fit in this room are probably up there with her listening in. Iris has always been a little excitable, so that was just a little slap on her cute little tush to help calm her down." That led to a few chuckles around the room and muffled laughter from above.

Dessa raised her hand first next, but Alison decided to tease her a bit and took a question from Shanti next. "What's the difference between a normal person and someone who can cast spells?" Alison paused for a moment since that was a better question than what she was expecting from a woman suddenly told magic was real. Unfortunately, this wasn't exactly something Alison knew a lot about, since her magical education has been rather piecemeal up until this point.

Maeve, thankfully, stepped forward as Alison tried to find the right words. "Hello everyone, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Maeve, owner of the 'La Chat Noire' nightclub and sorceress with a talent for black magics." As she stopped next to Alison, she reached over the blanket and gave a sidelong glance at her and asked, "Mind if I get a drink?" Alison nodded as she realized what Maeve was going to do and allowed the sorceress her little show.

The instant Maeve's hand went over the blanket, a soft black mist started to appear around her arm. With a small flick of her wrist, a circle of black magic manifested around her hand and a ghostly shade in the shape of an ethereal black skull materialized over her hand. Maeve loved the aesthetic, even if others thought her 'Unseen Servant' spell was 'gauche.' She looked at the dark little spirit and commanded it, "Please, fetch me a glass of water from the kitchen of this house, use one of the unused glass cups."

With that, the spirit floated towards the kitchen, disappearing as it left the area above the enchanted blanket. The room was silent as everyone watched the display of sorcery.

Maeve turned back to address Shanti properly now that her little show was done, establishing herself as a spellcaster.

"To answer your question, the biggest difference is the innate ability for someone to manipulate or interact with their mana consciously. Everyone has mana in some measure, it's part of being alive. It's just that for most, their innate mana is as imperceptible as their soul. Still there, but no way of being able to measure or interact with it. Someone who can manipulate their mana has what's called the 'mage-gift' or is capable of 'magecraft.' From there, they can refine, study, and practice the use of their magical skills, like anyone would a skill, like playing an instrument or studying a craft." Maeve concluded, feeling rather smug that she remembered the answer her own master had given her decades ago when she had been a neophyte herself.

Tiffany, surprisingly to Maeve and Alison, was the only one to raise her hand next.

In a shaky voice, she managed to get out, "Why did your's and Mrs. Skye's magic look so different?"

Maeve took a moment to look around the room and the only ones not looking a little paler than before were Himeko, Hope, Brittney, Illyana, and Alison herself. The latter most was giving her a knowing smirk as Maeve felt her cheeks begin heat up.

Alison, smiling a bit as Maeve fought the urge to retreat while muttering 'luddites' under her breath, explained for the gathered women. "The reason her magic looks so different, is because we each specialize in different types of magic. I specialize in an innate use of green magic, magic that comes from plants, animals, and the wilds of nature. Sending out a gust of ethereal wind to slap a naughty girl's ass is par the course. Maeve specializes in the practice of evoking black magic, magic that comes from shadows, the night, ****, and decay." Alison paused for a brief moment as a few of the women in the room drew back a little more.

With a smile, she continued, "While I know that sounds like she should be cackling over a cauldron, she isn't a bad person or do anything that I know sprung into your heads when I gave that descriptor. Every person, mage-gift or not, has an innate connection to the various colors of magic. Just to be clear, there are five. White, Black, Blue, Green, and Red. Maeve just happens to have an innate connection to black magic, making using that magic easier for her to use than any other. Her happening to love stylizing herself and her magics after something from a horror movie set in a cathedral full of vampires is entirely her own doing." Alison took a moment to glance back at her friend who was thankfully, giving her a dirty look and mostly recovered. Especially when the door to the bedroom opened and a floating glass of ice water floated it's way over to the pale sorceress.

Realizing she might not have fully answered the question, she added "Just because someone doesn't have conscious control of their innate mana, doesn't mean that they can't manifest various abilities. Anyone with an overabundance of mana might find themselves able to manifest various abilities, but generally aren't fully conscience of them. Like, supernatural senses, speed, strength, or..." she took a moment to deliberately look up at the ceiling in a general direction of a different bedroom than the one full of younger voyeurs.

"Stamina." she finished.

Everyone realized who the redhead was referring to, and to most it made sense that there was a reason why the young stud was able to keep up with almost a baseball team's worth of players.

Dessa raised her hand again, and this time Alison actually took the question.

"Are we in any danger?" the cop asked simply, looking deep into her hostess's eyes.

Alison gave the worried cop a warm and honest smile as everyone else's ears perked up to hear the answer. "No, my dear. No one here is in any danger. There is no magical war going on just outside of normal society's view, there's no magical beasts that you might be able to see now that you know magic is real, there are no secret cabal trying to maintain control of the world from the shadows. No magical one, anyways."

Dessa seemed to deflate a bit as a lot of tension left her body. She'd been imagining a lot of worst case scenarios about what Alison's powers could mean. She did feel a little embarrassed about some of her internet searches now though.

Dee, looking more concerned than usual after hearing that asked the next question, "What about all the myths and legends of great beasts then? Dragons, Krakens, Werewolves and Vampires? Is there anything out there that still hunts humans?"

Alison, Maeve, and even Himeko laughed a bit at that question. Maeve spoke up to answer, "To our knowledge in the magical community, those beings did exist at some point in the past, but trans-dimensional travel was discovered around when America was getting settled a couple centuries ago. Once the industrial revolution began around the world, most left for dimensions that were better suited for them. Some do come back in a form of magical tourism to visit homelands or just to see the modern world for various reasons, Dragons in particular. Also, some forms of Vampirism and Lycanthropy *ahem*being a werewolf*ahem* are transmissible, but are closer to a curable, magical STD at this point than some great curse."

Carmen got the next question, one that made Maeve blush a little again, while Alison tried not to start laughing.

"Are you a vampire?"

Maeve fought down her instinctive want just start throwing hexes at her friend and managed to answer, especially since she knew the massive woman was honestly just curious. "No, I may have had a vampire ancestor somewhere in the past, but I'm 100% human. I have studied transmissible vampirism and one of my cousins in England did infect themselves with it, but they're just weird."

This led to a round of questions from around the room as various lighter questions were answered.

"Can you use magic to make my boobs grow?" Yes, but it takes a really long time and energy.

"Have you ever used magic to make your boobs grow?" Alison did admit that she had pushed herself up from a C to D cup when she was younger, Maeve had wanted to but didn't have the power to when she was younger, and decided it was dumb to do so when she was older. Himeko volunteered that she had thought about doing a magical reduction at some point when she was younger.

That had started a long round of getting to know Himeko and Hope. How Himeko's mom was an actual succubus, from an actual dimension called hell, but not the real hell, demons just had a twisted sense of humor. Hope did have a lot of magic in herself, but hadn't quite gotten ahold of using her magic quite yet, which wasn't surprising since Himeko didn't get her mage-gift until she was twenty-six. They were here in America because they'd used divination magic to find out where they'd find a man who could help bring more magic into the family since the family was losing magical aptitude in every generation. That had caused a small fight when that came up.

Tiffany had picked up a jewelry box on a nearby dresser and raised it once she'd heard the reason why Himeko and Hope had come to the states. "If that means you're here to take Max back to your crazy magic family, then you've got another thing coming!"

Everyone else froze as that idea swept through the room, Maria and Carmen seemed to gain a steely glint in their eyes as Carmen shifted between the asian mother and daughter and the only door out of the room as Maria reached for her phone. Everyone else didn't move to stop the three, and Brittney moved towards a particular set of drawers where she knew her sister kept a stashed bean-bag loaded shotgun. Alison looked at the mother-daughter pair and raised a questioning eyebrow as her smile faded into grim mask.

Himeko raised both her hands and began to start protesting, but started having a coughing fit before she could really start to deny the accusations. Hope helped steady her mother and pulled out a small water bottle she kept when she knew she'd be out with her mom for long periods of time. The room was deadly silent as Himeko took a few quick mouthfuls of water before clearing her throat.

"That was never the plan, I assure you. The plan was to see if Hope could get pregnant and have several children with the man I divined, Max. The clan assumed that if we did manage to find a man with a great gift for magic for Hope, he'd be heavily guarded by some greater power that would be dangerous to anger. We were never going to try and capture him or anything, just that any children between him and Hope that have a gift for magic would study with the clan when they came of age. Taking Max from anyone was never the plan, place me in a Zone of Truth if you need to confirm it." As Himeko got this out, the other women in the room started to relax, but Illyana was surprisingly enough the one to speak up next.

"Isn't that kinda sad? To have children just to see if they have a gift for magic? What about the children that don't have any aptitude?" she asked with a sad look in her eyes.

Himeko gave a sad grimace as she spoke the truth. The redheaded hostess for the night was too powerful to anger by lying to her face. "Not every member of the clan has the ability to use magic, those who don't show any development of magical powers by a certain age are adopted by non-magical members of the clan and raised by them. Some of the more powerful members of the clan have divinations performed on children as their born to measure their magical potential and decide from there if they'll keep them or not... I personally find it to be an abhorrent practice, but I can't reshape the clan's practices by myself." There was a thick sadness in her voice as she finished her story.

Himeko was surprised that a moment later she was swarmed by a tearful mob of cooing women all giving her their support. She found her face pressed into the generous chest of the pregnant hostess of the house who continued to murmur "Oh you poor dear." into her hair.

It was rather calming for her to know that no one held any hate for her or her daughter, and the group hug did feel rather nice.

As the group hug broke up, Alison figured that that was about enough for the night. "Alright ladies, I think that's enough for tonight. Does anyone else have any other pressing questions before we break up this little family meeting?"

Gabrielle's eyes sharpened for a moment before she raised her hand.

"Why are you telling us this?"

Ah, that one little question that had managed to go unanswered for this long. Maeve and Himeko both looked to their pregnant hostess as to why she decided to reveal the existence of magic to so many people at once.

Alison took a deep breath as she started the prepared answer she knew she'd need tonight.

A truth and a lie that her Lady had prepared for her.

"Well, there are actually two reasons for this." She started as she felt her Lady's presence form behind her eyes.

"Max is actually both of the reasons. Firstly, I've been keeping an eye on him, and since he's moved in he's been gathering a lot of mana naturally. He might start to reach the point where he starts being able to manifest magic on his own and start casting spells. Magic tends to manifest when you're either incredibly focused or emotionally charged, and since almost all of us are fucking him, I wanted to tell you all this so that you weren't surprised if he suddenly starts levitating, or doing something weirder, mid-fuck." She took a deep breath before dropping her last bomb for tonight as the women in the room and in her daughter's room both nodded and gave speculative thoughts as to what magic enhanced sex would be like with Max.

"Secondly, All of you might start developing magic or various abilities over the next nine to ten months..."

What's Max been up to while this has been happening?
