Better not.

Ultimately you decide to go home. You quickly find the light blue SUV from the odd memory at the beach. It opens, and you give the car a quick search. There is a duffel bag in the trunk with several bikinis, denim shorts, two skirts, sneakers, and a half dozen light weight tops. Plus you find a pair of distressed jeans, knee high riding boots, riding gloves, and a helmet. The back seats are down and the cute folding electric bicycle is there as well. In the front you find a bunch of various odds and ends. “I’m a bit of a hoarder.” You say after a sip from a bottle of water.

You plug your phone into your car and start the engine. The two connect and the screen in the car brings up a local map as well as directions to your apartment. “Convenient.” Thirteen minutes later you arrive. A couple of minutes later and you are inside. The place is not huge, a single bedroom, but clean and cute. There is a desk in the bedroom with a closed laptop. An iPad is on the bed, plugged in, near the pillows. The living room has two matching love seats, a small tv with connected game console, and a small pile of pillows. “Guess I like gaming on the floor.” Several pairs of shoes are near the door, neatly aligned, so you slip off your shoes.

The fridge isn’t well stocked but you are able to make a quick salad, and munch a bunch of grapes. The iPad notes has a copy of your work schedule. “Cool, off tomorrow.” A quick shower, a bit of self fondling, and a beer later, and you find it increasingly hard to stay awake. The iPad is obviously your alarm and is pre set to 7 am so you turn it on and slip into a pair of extremely soft tie dyed pajamas. You can’t help but stare at yourself in the mirror a bit, “Well, good night Sarah. I hope you are okay wherever you are.” You slip under the sheets and ask Siri to turn off the lights. She does. Sleep comes quickly.
