Better do it away from your house

As you approached they start to get a bit hostile to your sudden appearance from the trees and brush in a very quiet manner in front of them. You say " Do not shoot at me and I will not shoot at you, now do you need help or are you just one of the groups of people running from the infected hordes?". The leader of the group, a police officer, says "We were chased by a large group of them about an hour ago, we lost 4 people to them after they swarmed our vans on the nearby highway". You say " That must have been the 20 or so infected I saw moving out of the woods toward the city". "There have been groups of normal people try and escape from those hordes. "Sadly from what I have seen most of these groups have been decimated" You say as you walk with the group.

You ask them if they either want to try and move on or if they want to camp out with you for a little while. Sadly they turn you down after you say this because of the stories that you told them what happened to others. After you return home you are happy to see that no one has messed with your home or outer buildings. After making sure that you have enough ammo, supplies and that you can build the perimeter walls along with a gate. Also the house and outer buildings need to be reinforced or harvested for the materials.
