Beth talks to Mark

"What's wrong? You look disappointed." Beth said. She was secretly thrilled, feeling as though she was actively ruining Natalie's date.

"It's just... I like Natalie because she's not like other girls." Mark explained. "She's serious and driven. But then she shows up here in a revealing bikini, and just seems like every other person driven by these basic wants, you know?"

Beth narrowed her eyes. So, Mark thought Natalie was better than her, and all the basic bitches? Then she shook it off. Well, she was ruining that image right now, so she was still winning!

"Yeah, she did seem real desperate for attention." Beth lied. "She said she wanted everyone to see her body."

"Man, that's so desperate!" Mark shook his head. "I really expected more from her."

"Well, she said she's super horny."

"She said that?!" Mark asked, totally shocked. "You two must be close. I had no idea you were even friends!"

"Oh, me and Natalie go way back..." Beth again lied.
