Bestials

The first bestial was born a little before The Great Magic War. A magical human had decided that they loved their pet more than people, and used magic to create a child mixed of their DNAs. The result was the first bestial.

Bestials are humans with a few animal traits. They are much more human than animal-typically only possessing animal ears, eyes, and tails. Occasionally they possess fur. Seldom do they ever possess a body shape that differs.

Bestials basically possess the same range of physical features that humans do-same heights, hair and eye color diversity, body size, etc. But the differences lay in other areas.

Bestials tend to be a little less smart than humans. They aren’t all idiots, but often rely more on things such as intuition and instinct. As such, they are usually more driven by lust and rage than humans, and don’t tend to think too much about things. This has led to them occasionally being used as pets by people of higher status.

When it comes to combat capabilities, bestials are physically stronger than human. They’re less attuned with magic however, and the physical difference can often be made up for by a human’s magical enhancements to their physical capabilities. Some bestials still can be capable mages though.
