While Brian and a **** Mindy plotted in the living room Nicole and JJ met up for some quick conversation of their own. With a quick knock on his door Nicole let herself into JJ's room, finding him just finishing getting dressed, "Hello!" Nicole playfully swooned as she admired JJ's toned chest before his shirt fell down over it,

"Morning to you too, Nikki," JJ smirked as he lifted his head and looked over at the redhead, "What'd you need?"

"Before or after seeing what I just saw," Nicole replied with a little grin,

"Before," JJ retorted with a small shake of his head,

"Kenny, you should go talk to him this morning, I'm gonna try with Anna. We need to know how things are advancing for them and if they are feeling the pressure from Brian or even Mindy," Nicole explained as she crossed her arms, looking at JJ expectantly,

"Yeah, you go ahead with that, I'm gonna do something a little less...evasive," JJ replied with ease, "Meet you downstairs for some breakfast,"

"Okay, I'm trusting you here JJ, don't fuck this up," Nicole reluctantly agreed as she followed JJ out of his bedroom. The jock made his way downstairs and Nicole casually waited by her door until Kenny and Anna's door finally opened. She reached out and shut her door, acting as if everything was coincidental as she watched Kenny emerge, "Morning Clark,"

"Hey Nicole," Kenny smiled back as he made his way towardsthe stairs a skip in his step. Nicole watched the teen for a moment before heading right into his bedroom, catching Anna just as she was finishing tying her hair up. "Well, well, well, Kenny seems pretty upbeat this morning,"

Anna glanced over her shoulder and shrugged, "I guess so,"

"Oh please...do not insult me by thinking you playing the innocent girl is gonna trick me," Nicole frowned as she crossed her arms, "I know you, and I know how guys act after they fuck,"

Anna jumped from her seat, turning and glaring at Nicole with surprising anger, "We. Did. Not. Fuck." Anna sharply told the redhead who lowered her arms and gently raised her hands,

"Anna, easy, whatever you did or didn't do with Kenny is your business...I just wanted to be included with who you're spending your time with. As your friend." Nicole explained watching as Anna slightly relaxed, though not by much,

"I'm not like you, Nicole, I don't know why you insist on thinking I'm suddenly gonna start casually hooking up with every guy I meet," Anna snapped back, "I care about who I'm with,"

"I didn't say you are casually hooking up," Nicole reminded the girl,

"No you just want to come in here a gloat that you were right. But you're not, Kenny and I didn't have sex," Anna said with a near smug smile, "So, now that you know you have nothing to tease me about, you can go,"

"Anna, geez, what asshole do you take me for? I mess with you sure, but I'm not here to just make fun of you. I'm your friend, I just want to know what you're doing that's all," Nicole lowly explained with a small shake of her head, "Sorry, I'll leave you be, I'm not trying to get you so amped,"

Anna's eyes widened as Nicole turned to leave and immediately the blonde girl ran over pulling Nicole back into the room, "Damn it, of course the one time I think I'm ready for teasing, jerk Nicole, you're actually nice best friend Nicole," The blonde said with a low groaning exhale, "I'm sorry,"

"No, I'm sorry, I set myself up for that. I've been on your back since we got here," Nicole admitted, "I just want you to be happy that's all,"

"I know you do...and I wasn't mad at you for being wrong...I'm mad because you were sorta...right," Anna sheepishly confessed causing Nicole's eyes to spring open and her tongue to press against the inside of her cheek,

"So I was right, you and Clark got a little wild last night?" Nicole grinned,

"We did not have sex, that was the truth but...we did things, that's all I'll say, details are private," Anna rapidly replied, "God, I'm such a sucker, one pouty lip from you and I break..."

"Good for you," Nicole simply replied, "Not going to pry, but I think...you and Ken make a lot of sense. I only wish I tried to set you two up sooner,"

"Well, we're not dating or anything...I mean, I don't think we are? We haven't talked about that. God...stop talking...I don't want to panic today. I just want to stay happy, I had such a nice morning with Kenny," Anna muttered more to herself rather than Nicole,

"Then go and keep having a good morning with him," Nicole urged while stepping to the side, "Anna, as long as you're happy, I'm happy. If you want to spend time with Kenny, then I will step right the fuck out of the way. You do you, girl," Nicole sincerely stated with a warm smile,

Anna rolled her lips in but failed to stop a smile now forming on her face, "He...is really fun to be around,"

"Then go be around him," Nicole retorted while putting a hand on Anna's back and leading her towards the door, "I will have girl talk with you later,"

"Girl talk won't include all my private business, Nikki," Anna reminded the redhead,

"Yes, yes, yes, I love you too," Nicole sarcastically retorted, "Go on, I'm sure Kenny's waiting for you,"

"Think so?" Anna said with a nervous giggle,

"He would have to be the dumbest motherfucker not to be," Nicole laughed back as they reached the top of the stairs, "Be right behind you," Nicole added on while turning and heading towards her bedroom to quickly change,

"Nikki, thanks for...I don't know, being my friend. As much as I want to throttle you sometimes...it's nice to know someone always has my best interest at heart," Anna wholeheartedly said,

"Damn...you need to screw around with Kenny more often, I could get used to this," Nicole teased causing Anna to playfully roll her eyes and start walking down the stairs while Nicole watched, pleased that her friend seemed to be heading down the perfect road for herself. Now all she needed to do was make sure Brian or Mindy didn't knock the ship off course...
