"Okay, so are these ghosts any threat?" Kazuma asked.

"Nope, they're not evil spirits... That one there is an adventurer that has no legs... A merchant that has no head, and one there with an eye hanging out..." Aqua trailed off, seeing the dead stare Kazuma was giving her. "I'm serious!" she pouted.

"She really is Kazuma," Wiz nodded. "Most people can't see ghosts that died recently enough and are low leveled... Although such ghosts should be at the cemetery. But recently, I hadn't seen any such ghosts about around there... So whatever is attracting them here must be drawing them from the cemetery..."

"Creepy..." Kazuma shuddered.

"But they're a bit too scared of us to really approach. At any rate, those ghosts are recent enough arrivals," Aqua mused. "There is one spirit who has been here a while though. Her name is Anna Filante Estroid. She was the illegitimate daughter of the nobleman who owned this home, and one of his maids. She was treated like a burden, and locked away, never knowing her parent's love."

"Sounds lonely," Fio remarked.

"Yeah... And her father died of illness eventually, and her mother went missing. And she has the same illness as her father, finally succumbing to it. But don't worry! She's not an evil spirit!" Aqua declared. "Just a bit on the lonely side! I'm guessing she somehow brought these spirits over to keep herself company!"

"I don't see how she could have managed to attract them though," Wiz chuckled. "There must be another reason for it..."

"A-anyway! She was a pretty precocious child though, and had an odd habit of sneaking sips of wine, so be sure to leave an offering Kazuma!"

"...is it just me, or is she acting a bit shifty?" Kazuma asked the rest of the group, who nodded in agreement.
