There’s no time to be cautious about this. You’re flexible enough for these thugs’ game of limbo. And they probably aren’t. If you get past this trap, they’ll be stuck on the other side and you can lose them. Well, here goes nothing.

Acrobatics Check: Passed!

Easy. Thanks to your yoga practice, you’re able to get past the obstacle with relative ease. It pays to have a good body, it seems. And, as you suspected, the guards stop dead in their tracks. You can hear them making a call about the intruder, but you keep sprinting down the end of the hall and take the next corner, out of their sight.

You end up in the main hallway again, with doors lining either wall. You spot a smaller door, probably a supply closet, and shut yourself inside as quickly as you can. Scanning the closet, you find the perfect hiding spot. An empty box. You flip it upside down and hide inside, ensuring that nobody will see you even if they check the closet.

Minutes go by with the alarm still blaring, and footsteps can be heard outside, trampling back and forth like a stampede of elephants. At one point, the door to the closet opens, but it closes shortly afterwards, the guard having been fooled by your disguise.

Eventually, the alarm dies down, and a few more minutes pass with no foot traffic outside. Phew… Sounds like it’s safe for you to continue your search. For now, at least.
