Chapter 6 by Koriandr Koriandr

What happened next?

Ben stayed behind in his room to find something more comfortable to wear.

Benfire huffed, finally mustering the courage to rise from Starfire's frilly pink mattress. He sat up, the unfamiliar weights on his chest pulling him down. He had to adjust his posture as he stood up, nearly falling over from his altered center of gravity. His face turned beat red when the covers fell off his body and he saw he was wearing a purple bra and panty set. He moved to cover himself, but Gwen just chuckled.

_"Not like it's anything I haven't seen before, Ben," _she giggled, enjoying this way too much.

Ben rolled his eyes, using the wall to prop himself up, he took in the room he was in.

There were shelves of collectible dolls, framed photos of 'Benfire' and her friends, posters of bands she enjoyed, miscellaneous alien tech, and random mementos she collected and plastered on her walls. It was surreal to see images of himself in this form, black and white costume and all, posing with the Titans as Starfire. He really did have a history with them. Reality really was rewritten.

_"This is very peculiar," _he spoke in Starfire's overly proper dialect, her voice coming from his mouth.

"Hey, you said you wanted to join the Teen Titans, right? Now you're one of them... Just... not like you imagined," Gwen snickered.

"Should you not be more concerned with the fact we are trapped in an alternate dimension because of you?"

"Magic you asked me to use, dweeb. This is just as much your fault as it is mine. We should've just went to Grandpa for help like I suggested!"

Benfire was about to make his rebuttal when he stopped in front of the full body mirror. He furrowed his brows, the girl staring back at him wasn't the one he expected to see.

"Woah... I look... Different?"

"Yeah, you look like Starfire... just... younger," Gwen nodded.

"Don't look at me, alternate reality stuff isn't my forte."

"Is that so?"

Benfire entered the walk-in closet. His vision was assaulted by the seemingly endless racks of outfits. He ignored the majority of them, quickly locating the rack of superhero costumes. He sifted through the options, finding all of them were just black and white variants of Starfire's costumes over the years. Unfortunately for him, her suits had a habit of being skimpy and unnecessarily revealing. Hesitantly, Ben plucked the least revealing one off the rack: a skirt and midriff showing tank top with thigh high heels and silver bracers.

"How does she fight in any of this? Superhero costumes are supposed to be cool, not..."

"Hot? I'm pretty sure that style is just her culture, Ben. People are going to think you're her here, so you're just gonna have to get over it," Gwen leaned against the closet door with her arms folded.

"The sooner you quit being a crybaby over being a girl, the sooner we can figure out a way back home," Gwen added.

Sighing, realizing she was right, Ben slipped the skirt on, which was easy enough. He fastened the belt and slipped the top on over his head. He disappointedly tried tugging it down lower to cover more of his abdomen but it wouldn't take, leaving his toned midriff exposed. Ben slipped the bracers on over his wrists, noticing the one on his left hand had an Omnitrix insignia.

Lastly, he zipped up the thigh highs.

"Woah!"

Ben stumbled, unable to even keep balance on the damn things standing straight up.

"I-I cannot fight in these, cousin Gwen! I cannot even walk in them!"

"You can fly, can't you? Just don't walk, dummy."

Gwen pointed out.

"Right..."

Benfire focused, and just like that, he began levitating.

He gave himself another once-over in the mirror, unsure how to feel about this whole ordeal. His face turned beat red when he saw himself fully dressed.
