After telling her that Amber was just his footstool, John listened to her problem.

"Well, I'm not sure if you remember that I was engaged?" Bella asked.

"Ah, yes, to Benjamin Mascolo, I believe?" John asked.

Bella nodded. "Well as you know, I broke it off with him. The problem is that I think I have commitment issues. Like, me and Ben were fine, you know? That's why we got engaged in the first place. But, I don't know. I guess I thought there was more to life than marriage."

"So you want me to make you more committed to things, is that it?"

"Yes, please," Bella said.
