Belka’s reasons

Belka shifts uncomfortably with the question.

“No. It’s you. I don’t know. There’s something about you. I really like you. I know we didn’t speak much back in the day, but after every time all I could think about was you.”

“Am I why you broke up with …? I’ve forgotten his name.”

“Jarrod.” Belka’s boyfriend when you knew her. The reason you hadn’t made any attempt to chase her then. “No. Well, not really. Maybe, if I hadn’t met you, I might have tried to make me and Jarrod work. He was a great guy and everything, it’s just after the first spark had faded, it never really worked.”

That confession makes you uncomfortable. You don’t want to be breaking up relationships. Even to get hold of someone as beautiful as Belka. She can see that. She has to mitigate.

“I might have kept it going for longer, but I don’t believe it would have lasted. You’re not the reason we broke up. You’re just the reason when we broke up. Don’t tell me Jarrod is the reason you’ll say no. Jarrod’s gone.”

“It’s a concern. I have another. Stephanie.”

“Stephanie? Stephanie likes you.”

“She doesn’t like the fact I’ve persuaded three of her best models to retire. And if you join the household, you’ll be a fourth.”

Stephanie was Anna’s, Gloria’s, and Niemira’s agent. She’s also Belka’s agent. She also happens to be the wife of your literary agent, Bridget. It was through Bridget and Stephanie that you met those girls. Stephanie organised parties to which Bridget invited you, and that’s where you met them. It’s also where you met some other members of the household, although they were not clients of Stephanie.

“She did ask me whether you were behind my decision to retire.”

“You’ve already retired?” You insist that the members of the household retire from adult modelling and porn. The only guy allowed to see them naked now is you.

“Yes, a month ago.” That was before she reached out to Anna and Gloria.

“Why?”

“You know I paint?” You nod. You’d looked up her painting and been impressed. “I only ever modelled to fund my painting. I’ve always wanted to do that full time. But the modelling was getting in the way. I’ve gained a bit of a name, done a couple exhibitions. I thought now was the time.”

“Joining the household will interfere with that. Everyone gets duties."

“Yes, I know, cooking, cleaning, laundry, those kinds of things. But none of those are as time consuming as jetting around the world modelling. And then there’s the best sex you’ll ever have.”

“Did Gloria or Anna tell you that?”

“All the girls told me that.”

“And that doesn’t put you off?”

She laughs playfully.

“A year ago, when we were hanging around together, if you’d asked me to cheat on Jarrod, I’d have done it. And that was before I learned what kind of lover you are. Everyone I’ve talked to tells me you’re the best lover they’ve ever had. When I learned both Anna and Gloria were going out with you, I thought that was weird. I understood it, but I thought it was weird. Now. You have nine girlfriends, and I just want to be the tenth.”

“But you told Stephanie I had nothing to do with your retirement. She’s not going to believe it when she learns you’ve joined the household.”

“She didn’t believe it back then. She wished me good luck in chasing you. She told me you’d be a fool to turn me down.”

The last few times you’ve talked to Stephanie all she’s done is berate you about making her best models retire. She’s told you in no uncertain terms that you’re banned from all her future parties in case you steal more of her models. Maybe there was more jest in there than you realised.

“I would be a fool to turn you down, would I?”

“That’s what she said.”

She looks straight at you with her big, brown, seductive eyes and you can’t help but agree. You’re very much aware of the curves of her body beneath the dress. Your underpants are way too tight. She brushes away a lock of her hair.

“If I was to tell you to take off your dress right now, what would you do?”

She smiles. Then stands. With two swift movements she slips the straps of her dress over her arms. She wiggles and the dress drops to pool at her feet. She’s not wearing a bra. Her large, round breasts stand before you. You can see tan lines across them. She is wearing a white pair of knickers. You can see a wet spot forming over her slit.
