Believe in your team.

Thanks to the berries, your team is fully healed and ready to fight. It’s hard to count with all the Combee buzzing about but you count around 20. You stand your ground and call forth your other 2 pokemon to help Squirtle. “Runt just keep using bite. Tingle use spiderweb to keep the queen from escaping. Squirtle let’s hit them with some more bubble.” Tingle fires webbing all over the field limiting the movement of the Combee swarm. Runt seems to be enjoying herself while running around leaping at the bugs. Squirtle is using bubble to hit groupings of Combee.

The Combee start using gust. The combined forces of their gust attacks combine to create one strong blast of wind. Squirtle’s bubbles start going everywhere in the wind. Runt is caught off guard and knocked back by the ****. Tingle clings to his webbing trying not to fly away. You’re **** to hold on to your hat.

The Combee don’t show any signs of stopping so you start to give commands but the roar of the wind drowns out your voice forcing you to shout, “SQUIRTLE USE WATER GUN.” The wind is too strong for bubble to be effective so you have Squirtle switch to the more direct water gun. Runt slowly pushes back against the wind to continue attacking the enemy Combee. “TINGLE USE ELECTROWEB.” He shoots out an electrified web but it’s swept away with the building gust. “NEVERMIND, USE THUNDER WAVE.” Yellow waves fire through the air. Most of them miss the swarming Combee, but a few land causing the affected Combee to slow down.

The wind is kicking up all the debris in the field. You can feel it hitting you and digging into your skin. The wind starts to wear down your team, Runt seems to be taking a lot of damage running around close to the Combee. Squirtle and Tingle are further back and avoiding more of the damage. The Combee numbers start to slowly dwindle, the wind begins to die down with fewer Combee feeding into the gale. You see the female Combee paralyzed on the ground. This is your chance, you throw a pokeball. To your surprise the wind is still strong enough to blow your ball off course hitting a different Combee. You hear the clunk as you catch the unintended pokemon. “Great just what I needed.” You dig around for another pokeball. You throw it during a lull in the wind. The ball is on the right trajectory for the female Combee when another Combee flies in the way. *CLUNK* You’re now the owner of 2 male Combee.

Only a few Combee remain, flying around avoiding the water guns and Runt’s eager biting. You look in your bag finding one more pokeball. Not wanting to accidentally catch any more extra Combee you walk over to the weak female and touch the ball to her. You wait for the clunk, and success you’ve caught a female Combee.

You let the female Combee out of her ball. You pose for a selfie, in the screen you get your first glimpse of yourself. Your hair is a mess with sticks poking out of it. Your shirt and pants are ripped in various places and your arms are covered in little scratches. You look like a mess. You take a second to brush your hair out, the rest will just have to wait. With your hair fixed, you pose with your trophy pokemon. You go to send the selfie to John, and then remember Roger too, but you realize that you’ve lost the signal you had found earlier. You give your pokemon a serving of berries to help them regain some strength, while you search for the elusive signal. Eventually you give up and decide to send the selfie once you’re out of the forest.
