Being Revealed

Finally calmed enough to stand she rises. She was there for too long though as she hears her mother. “The birthday girl is taking too long. I am just going to go check on her.” Lorna froze. She was coming here? Her time was up?

She was frozen too long for thought though, her mother had rounded the corner. “Oh there you are!” She grins. “I am glad I did not have to do anything drastic. Come on dear, greet your guests.” She said taking ahold of Lorna’s arm.
