Bedtime with Mrs Geoff

When the time for bed came, Sarah turned to you with a playful grin. "Hey, why don’t you sleep in my room tonight? It'll be fun!"

But before you could respond, Mrs. Geoff chimed in with a firm but gentle, "No, Sarah. He’ll sleep with me again tonight. Your bed’s too small for both of you."

Sarah pouted for a moment, but quickly relented, her grin returning. "Fine, fine. But just for tonight!" she teased.

You glanced between them, feeling a mix of relief and nervousness. The arrangement from the night before had felt intimate, but Mrs. Geoff’s comforting presence also gave you a sense of safety you hadn’t felt in days. So, without protest, you followed her to her bedroom once more.

Mrs. Geoff led the way, her soft voice calming your nerves as she reassured you, "You’ll be fine here with me again tonight. Get comfortable."

As you entered her room, that same familiar warmth wrapped around you, and the gentle hum of the house settling for the night filled the quiet space.
