Arron glanced back as Damien settled down on the couch, propping himself up with a few pillows and spreading the blanket over himself to get as comfortable as possible. Despite choosing a larger one than two people would be using, it was still more than a bit funny to see his feet sticking over the armrest portion on one end and his head nearly resting on the opposite end. He was always a tall one and Arron turned her head away to hide the smile on her face.

The two of them, after he had taken a shower and she had slipped out of her dress and into a baggy shirt and yoga pants, had spent the past two hours talking and catching up on mutual friends out East, with particular interest in several other people they had often talked about and shared things with. Damien, like always, was one who loved to gab and gossip and Arron, for the most part, let him do that as she plopped down on the love seat next to him. She didn't notice, and he didn't point it out, that she had tucked her feet in the same way that Erin, and Sarah, always did, or the way she smiled and rested her head on her hand and laughed. Small, simple mannerisms that went completely ignored by the two of them shows Arron how close she was and open she was to her friend. Damien, for his part, made no hiding his attraction to her as well.

A little after midnight, he propped his head up on the couch and looked up at the ceiling. She had turned the lights off except for the light from the bedroom and as she slipped in and closed the door behind her, the man in the living room sighed softly and continued to stare up at the ceiling. "Good night," she called out and his muffled response told her that he was already starting to doze off.
