Bedroom

As you walk through the place you find a door with lights seemingly coming from behind it. You knock on the door and say “Hello? Is anyone here?”

When you receive no reply, you open the door and look inside the room. What you see is a lovely bedroom. You look around and check out this room. It looks rather old style, but luckily it is clean. On second thought, it is much too clean for what appears to be an abandoned house.

Suddenly you feel a chill go through you. You turn around and ask, “Who is there?!”

Then you see movement from the corner of your eye. You turn around again, and look into a translucent face.

You jump back in surprise and shriek. “EééééééHH!!”

“I’m sorry.” The figure says. “I didn’t mean to frighten you.”

You stare intently at the apparition floating in front of you. It has the shape of a woman in her twenties. She is naked, which is a little worrisome to you, but what worries you even more is she is incorporeal and radiates a slight blueish light.

“A-a-are y-you a g-g-g-ghost?” You ask frightfully.

The woman looks sad and says “Sadly, yes, I am.” Then looks at you hopefully and says “Please, don’t be afraid.”

You take a deep breath and say, “Sorry, you just startled me. Who are you?”

“My name is Sylvia.” The ghostly woman says as she makes a slight bow. “I lived here once, long ago.”

“A pleasure to meet you, Sylvia.” You reply, trying to bow back to her. “How did you end up here?”

“Well …” Sylvia starts. “Once upon a time I lived here, then I became ill, and then I passed away. I’ve been haunting this place ever since.”

“Aww, you poor girl.” You say. “Is there anything I can do to help?”

“Well.” Sylvia said. “A few moments ago, I passed through you. You felt so warm, and for the longest time I have been so cold. I was wondering if … You would help make me feel warm again?”

Hmm, this is quite a peculiar situation. You had been quite surprised to see this ghost, and have been able to keep your emotions under control by staying nice to this ghost. Now this ghost was asking something from you, you were reminded of all those ghostly horror movies you’ve seen. In some of them the ghost was sneaky and tricked the main character into a nasty deal. In others the ghost became angry upon hearing it’s request denied. So far Sylvia seemed pretty nice, but can she be trusted?
