Bed, Bath, and BEYOND

You broke the remote control to your TV, so you head to Bed, Bath, and Beyon to pick up a universal remote since the store is within walking distance of your apartment.

You stroll in but can't find the remotes. You see a door ajar and peek in. A strange man is inside surrounded by machine parts and workbenches cluttered with tools and strange gadgets. He beckons you in. "Need a remote?" he asks.

"Um, yes. How did you know?" you ask.

"I know these things. Here." He picks up a remote off a workbench.

You look at the remote. It appears normal but there is no brand name. You look up and the man is gone. You shrug and check out at the register after getting some batteries.

While walking home, you put in the batteries.
