I stepped closer to Inez until our faces were almost touching. In a soft, calm voice, I said, “Inez, I'm not going to hurt you. I don't know what this thing is or how it happened, but I'm not going to hurt you.” She seemed to relax a little at that, but even I realized that there was a world of difference between, “not hurt” and “not take advantage.”
“When I tell you to go, just go home,” I said. “Don't tell anyone about the app or about me,” I said. Then after a moment's consideration, I added, “and don't say or do anything that might bring me any harm – physical or otherwise, OK? In fact, just forget about the app and everything about our interactions today, can you do that?”
Something instantly changed in her expression. She was confused. And finding herself face to face with me, she quickly backed away in anger.
“Who the hell are you?” she demanded. Then looking around, “and where am I? How did I... did you **** me?” She was reaching into her purse. I could see a taser in her hand.
Lifting my hands up in defense, I quickly said, “Hang on – wait. You came here, remember.” Then thinking fast, I said. “Believe what I tell you. We met at the coffee shop. We had a great talk. You wanted to borrow a book I recommended. We came up to my apartment and I thought we were about to kiss just now. But you know what, I'll get you the book later. Just give me your phone number and then go.”
Inez put the taser back in her bag, sighed, looked around again, then gave me her phone number. “I'm sorry,” she said, “My head's in a weird place right now. Call me when you find the book... um...”
“Ron,” I prompted.
“Yeah. Sorry.” And with that she left.
So... what have I learned? She will really do everything I command. I can command her to forget about the app. She will still obey commands after I command her to forget the app. And I may even be able to plant false memories - to a degree.
Or else Inez is an incredible actress willing to take this game to its limit. Unless that's the case, I now have probably a dozen or so women that I can command to do anything. And I can even work it so they don't know why they are obeying my commands. Pretty sure I just crossed the Rubicon. Nothing will be the same after this.
