What's next?

Be a ghost that possess a ghost pokemon. Ghost-ception!

(Note: First off Sorry! I didn't realize there was a story line for normal pokemons before making that chapter.)

The idea of being a ghost inside a ghost felt more interesting by the minute, and eventually is what you settled with. You were about to go follow one of the random pokegirls around when you remembered. There is one legendary pokemon that is of ghost type AND is of the same gen as Dialga and Palia as it happens: Giratina.

You racked your mind for what knowledge you had of that pokemon. You know it was in another dimension in the games, and apparently it is considered evil in some theories? Or was it canon? Turns out you don't know much about Giratina, other that it could travle between that dimension and the one the game takes place in freely. You think that was the case. You aren't sure about them being evil though. Not to mention that this isn't the standard pokemon world. Who knows how different Giratina could be in this one. It may be better to look around for information on them around.

Thankfully luck seems to be on your side, as the very next building you pass through is a local library where an older pokemon is reading stories to a group of young ones. Most of those tales seem to be about ancient times when the legendaries were viewed much more as deities than they are in modern times. They are still seen as incredibly powerful individuals, but apparently most prefer not to be given that level of devotion and prefer to live alongside the rest of the pokemons in the world. It does explain why a legendary like Dialga would have a job at a company. As a CEO sure but still, they have a job. Seems the kids know the general about who some of the legendaries living around this place are. Dialga the CEO, Zapdos the supermodel, among others. A kid does bring up Giratina's name, though sadly it seems most of the group, the elder pokemon included, don't know much about them. With that the older pokemon gets up and waves goodbye to the kids saying their parents should be around soon.

You sigh, having gotten no closer to your objective than before and preparing to leave when you hear the kids talking again. This time the are talking about rumors and scary stories they heard from each other. The main one seems to be about a pokemon that may be living a bit away from the city. The kids can't agree if said pokemon lives in a haunted mansion, in a ruined castle, in some dark cave, or in the wilds. They also have apparently heard that there is a section of the forest nearby where no pokemon dares enter, and htose that have tried soon flee away from there. The way one of the kids tells it makes it clear he's trying to scare the group. A young ralts by the looks of it. Another kid ask him to stop because she's scared and they all laugh before saying that none of those stories are true, and saying that the Ralts is just telling one of his make up tales once again, to which the boy just laughs a bit and changes the topic.

Honestly, seeing the kids like that makes you smile a bit. Reminds you when you were little and hanged out with your friends, doing the exact same thing.

As you go to leave you overhear a vulpix girl talking with a luxray girl about the rumors the kids were talking about. The Luxray just dismiss most of it until the Vulpix tells them that they heard the same kind of rumors as a kid themselves. About the very same are of the forest where no pokemon dared to enther, those that did would swear they felt eyes watching them all the time, a looming dangerous prescence, as if they would be devoured in one gulp by some kind of unnatural being before running away for their lives. The Luxray is trying to calm down the Vulpix though it seems she's having a little doubt about the rumors being that.

You leave them be, having gotten the information you wanted. The Vulpix girl, despite how much she was scaring herself, was telling everything in so much detail that you were able to make a mental map of the are these rumors take place in. Your destination set you fly towards there, soon reaching the edges of the city as the big buildings are replaced by residential areas and then fields before reaching a forest. You have to admit. There is something about the forest that's off. While you can't really see much past the outer lines of trees overall, this area of the forest appears to devour any and all kind of light that dares enter, giving it an ominous feeling of sorts.

Luckily for you, you're an interdimensional ghost and these things for sure won't affect you so you simply dash pass, never once feeling those eyes or prescence around you. As you fly about the trees you continue being unable to see towards the interior until you notice something not so far away. It seems that the trees give way to some kind of structure. It's...
