Be Honest with her

[I do believe you.]

You sigh to yourself as you text her back. Either she would hate you for what you did, or knowing her, she’d love it. Either way you didn’t want to lie to the person you trusted most, the one who trusted you most.

[What’s that supposed to mean?]

Came her response, she was clearly confused. In the past you had always written this stuff off as hogwash. So a sudden change of belief would be puzzling.

[It was me, Selina, I possessed you. That’s why I believe it.]

You said, and held your head in your hand, ready to hear police sirens outside soon...

[Come over to my house, bring whatever you used to do that.]

She responded simply. How had she known it was an item? You got up, picking up the music box and grabbing your wallet and keys and stuff and headed out, telling your mother you were going to visit Selina. With that you take the short walk to your neighbor’s house and brace yourself for whatever happens... You knocked at the door and Selina answered, she glanced down at the box and then beckoned to you to come inside without a word, she was dressed in her sweater and jeans again, and hurried up the stairs to her room. You followed, shutting the front door behind you and leaving your shows near it, something of a courtesy in Selina’s home. With that, you followed her up to her room and saw Selina sitting on her bed.

“So that’s the item? How’s it work?”

She asked you once you shut the door to her room.

“You say a name, wind the box and lay down. Then you basically blink and you’re in there body.”

You explained, sitting on her bed next to her and holding out the box for her to take it if she wanted to try it for herself.
