Battle the creature

You take a defensive stance as the creature screeches in furious anger. It is obviously not used to dealing with prey that can resist its psychic powers. The light tipped tentacles arch back just out of your reach, like they are ready to pounce, and the lights on their tips brighten to a beautiful blueish glow. You are momentarily distracted by how pretty they are, but you remember to bring your flaming sword to eye height, countering the ghastly lights. You and the Angler King dance for a few heartbeats as it tries to aim its limbs past your sword and you consistently mirror it's movements.

Then it makes a mistake, a tentacle comes close enough to you, and swing your sword in a glorious, blazing arc that fills the cavern with flickering orange light and cleaves the head of a tentacle from its foul body. The sick sound of the limb hitting the floor with a thud is satisfying and you smirk as you draw the sword back to again defend against the lights. The limb on the ground oozes a glowing iridescent blue ichor, and the creature reels back. Undulations grip the massive thing as it howls in pain, you glimpse your companion rocked loose from the thing's gelatinous side. Her limp body flops to the ground, partially freed from the fleshy prison. It may not be too late for her, you think to yourself.

The creature begins to recover and it peels the last of it's limbs away from the cavern walls, they begin to surround you with light from 4 different directions. You gaze into the flames of your sword, trying not to focus on the voices creeping in on the edges of your consciousness. The lights grow brighter as it focuses on you, forcing the stary voices into your head.

"Put the sword down, there's no danger here, it's safe" they say in wispy tones.

"No" you muddle with determination.

You make a lunging strike at the light between you and the king, you have to go for the kill. The sword sizzles and you stab it into the bulbous end of one of the tentacles. The creature flails in pain again, but it begins to chase after you with the undamaged lights. You have no time to waste recovering, and you charge at the thing. You sight it's head as you begin to run up it's greasy body. It realizes that you are coming for it's head and manages to swat you with one of the damaged tentacles, throwing you back and splattering your supple skin with the glowing ichor. You hit the ground at the base of the creature and roll effortlessly, landing in a defensive crouch, but the tentacles are on you in nanoseconds.

One of the damaged limbs wraps around your sword hand, trying desperately to pull it back, but these limbs aren't built for strength. You pull against it as the creature brings the three good stalks up in front of your view. You shut your eyes tightly, and turn your head away immediately. Another of the injured tentacles begins to wrap around your calf, drooling the thick gel down your ankle. The Lights grow more intense, and you can hear them, clearly.

You have the focus for one more strike, and you take a deep breath. The tentacle around your leg begins to slide up your leg, prying at the edge of your panties. You must strike now, before it's too late. You spin the wrist on your sword hand, flicking your wrist, and slicing the tentacle easily.
